The verified review history behind Pleasure Island Rentals

This was my first experience and it was amazing! The people were very friendly and helpful. They had out our chairs on time and in the best view and the easiest walk from our motel. I will definitely be using them every time I visit the beach.

Awesome quick rental! Makes all the difference for our day at the beach! Affordable rental and courteous staff!

I love renting the chairs and the umbrellas because I don’t have to lug them from the condo to the beach! When I rented for the week, the lady at the desk told me it was supposed to rain the next day and they wouldn’t charge me for the rainy day and added it onto the end of my week! Great Customer Service !!

Highly recommend renting out beach equipment if you’re traveling light or don’t want to carry extra weight for a beach day. Process is fast and easy! You can pay online, over the phone or in person!

These folks are AMAZING at making your trip easy and RELAXING!! We found ourselves on the beach two older people, we decided we wanted to rent chairs we called them they were there within 15 minutes and even though it was the end of the day and they told us they would have to charge us full price, and they left us until last to pick up the chairs so we managed to get 2 hours when we only expected to get one. However for the price and the convenience I would have been thrilled with only one hour of resting on the beach in those great chairs! We also use them to rent kayaks The kayaks were delivered and they're ready and waiting for me I had such an amazing time! If you find yourself in Carolina Beach definitely go with the pleasure Island guys they are super nice and extremely helpful great prices as well thank you so much pleasure Island Rentals for making our trip wonderful!!

We always use Pleasure Island Rentals for our beach umbrella and chairs- they make everything super easy with no stress and put our chairs where we request.

Everything was great. Our chairs and umbrellas were set up on time everyday and the staff were very nice to interact with. This took so much stress off of us, Knowing we didn’t have to carry chairs umbrellas to the beach every day and knowing we would always have a prime spot. Thank you you to all your staff for making my 50th birthday celebration with family and friends absolutely amazing! We will use you every time we come to Carolina Beach! 🏖️

We decided on a last minute beach trip for Memorial Day. We called Pleasure Island to get our beach chairs and umbrella the night before. They had us all set up and ready to go bright and early the next morning! Pricing was great and we loved having the chairs with leg rests. Excellent customer service!!

Always friendly, efficient service. We have used them twice now and both times they have been great. My only suggestion is replace some of your chairs with rips and tears.

PIR was amazing to deal with for our girls' kayaking adventure. The owner was so kind and helpful! It was a wonderful experience from start to finish. I highly recommend them for your rental needs. We will be repeat customers.

Sean and the team at Pleasure Island are great. Rented 20 wedding chairs and a couple tables for a baby shower and worked out great. Chairs and tables in mint condition. Thanks PIR

We stayed at Kure Beach this year and was still able to get chairs and umbrellas delivered and set up for a $20 delivery fee. Kure Beach deliveries also require a 2 day rental, which we were able to split up so they weren't consecutive days. Would definitely recommend.

I reserved my VIP Umbrella and Chairs online prior to my arrival. It included set up delivery and pick up! Pricing was very reasonable customer service was excellent, but the convenience was what really made my trip great! I would highly recommend Pleasure Island Rentals at Carolina Beach. FYI, they also have other beach supplies to rent.

The umbrellas and chairs were absolutely the best thing to have for our beach trip. They were set up directly in front of our condo. They were also comfortable. They were up before 9:00am. Definitely will do it again.

It is such a pleasure to make a call and have your chairs and umbrellas on the beach when you get there! Please Island Rentals never disappoints! Great experience!

Chair and umbrella set-up was perfect.

Had a fabulous time. Chairs and umbrella were right where we wanted them and made our day so much easier! Will definitely use them again in the future!! Had a great spot!!!

Excellent service!
