Been with this company since last year and couldn't be happier. They know what they're doing, charge fair competitive prices. It's so much better to go with them than general contractors or other means to try to save a few hundred dollars. You get what you pay for. I replaced my AC with them a year ago, serviced it at no cost since I have the diagnostics for life package. They also fixed several mistakes from the previous home owner and a contractor I hired to install the smart thermostat. The furnace and AC would randomly fail at times and I had no idea why. Now I know and everything is working perfectly. Genuine service. Genuine company.

Fast and great service!

Excellent service. Excellent communication. The process was smooth. Both AC units were installed and tested and explained. They both work great without issue. The men who came were kind and respectful and professional. Everything was left clean. I’m grateful for the experience they provided. Would highly recommend.

Warmest thanks to Liam for his works to resolve the problem of my 10 years old A/C. He thoroughly carried out diagnosis after conversation to me about when the problem occurred and symptoms. Promptly identified where the loosen electric wire should be connected to, hence resolved the problem without any new parts. Meanwhile, he also patiently answered all my questions. He is really a nice and honest guy, and highly competent technician with good knowledge to the product and repair technique. The team of High Efficiency Cooling & Heating kept me well informed about the process since I placed the repair service order. Price is fair, service is excellent, and company is reliable and trustfulness 👍🏻👍🏻

This company knows all about PTAC units. Omg they've helped out many of us condo owners manage and fix these antiquated heating systems. I am very grateful. If you have an old heating system in the Dundas st area and its not functioning well, I would def hire this company.

My wife and I have been in our current home for 38 years and have experienced three different HVAC companies. We have now found that our 3rd company namely High Efficiency Cooling % Heating Inc. to be our preferred company. Charton from sales returned our many phone calls with clear answers before our purchase of a dual furnace-heat pump system. Liu and his assistant did an excellent installation. Richard the technician has taken a systematic elimination approach to find the cause of a heat pump problem. Most importantly the technician Richard took the time to listen to our heat pump drainage concerns and came up with a perfect solution that demonstrated the great flexibility of our smart thermostat and great flexibility of our heat pump that when needed it can function solely as an ac thereby eliminating our drainage concerns. Thank you to the whole team and especially to the technician Richard for clearly explaining the multiple advantages of a dual furnace-heat pump system and smart thermostat and suggesting what we thought was a perfect mechanical solution to our heat pump drainage concerns! On August 14, 2025, technician Girin from High Efficiency and Cooling Inc. came to replace the collector's box in our Carrier furnace. The need for a replacement was first diagnosed by technician Rana, Marco ordered the new part and Girin did an excellent job in replacing the old collector's box. Girin was very professional, performed excellent work, explained everything very clearly, doubled-checked to make sure everything was in excellent order, and answered all our questions about the Eco smart thermostat. Many thanks to Girin and the whole High Efficiency team for their excellent teamwork! We thoroughly are appreciative of High Efficiency's Annual Service membership program and their Residential Lifetime Free Diagnosis Membership Program. These 'worry-free' programs provide us with safety, security and efficient service!

The technician who came to service our furnace was very efficient and knowledgeable about the work. He provided very useful ideas about how a home owner can understand the best operation of the equipment. One idea that the technician gave me was to shut off the A/C system when the outside fan stops, to avoid further damage.
