Positive: Professionalism, Quality, Responsiveness I had the good fortune to have Joey & his brother Pedro show up to unload a 20' moving truck packed full. They showed up early with a great attitude and started immediately. They were efficient but not rushed so I was able to tell them where I wanted things without feeling like a bother. I actually enjoyed our interaction while they wirked. It was like having 2 friends help move and the kind of friends you like to hang out with, not the ones you only want to see when you have heavy things to move and they're the only friends with a truck. I've read reviews and all credit should go to the boots on ground workers, especially considering the huge cut of pay the Community Labor Partnership takes. I am happy for the service though as I was moving from 1500 miles away and it was difficult to determine when I would arrive so couldn't schedule movers. I took a chance on the add placed on craigslist to secure movers approximately 12 hours in advance and I couldn't have felt more lucky with these guys.

Positive: Professionalism, Quality The two gentlemen assigned to our job were exceptional; very polite and extremely hard workers. For some reason, CLP had them show up an hour earlier than I requested(and their email confirmed my time), so they had to find something else to do until we were ready for them. The reason for 4 stars is my assumption that CLP takes 50% of the total paid for this service, which seems exorbitant. $200.00 for two workers for two hours. $100.00 up front to CLP, $50.00 in cash for each of the workers when the job is complete(we also tipped them $40.00 each). Would I use them again? Possibly, though next time I would likely utilize privately owned movers where all the money would stay with them.

Unexpectedly needed assistance transferring suitcases, boxes, and several individual items to a new address. I was impressed with how quickly they sent someone to help me and the cost was definitely feasible. That person not only was competent and worked fast, but was compassionate regarding my circumstances which was an added bonus. Thank you again!

I called, was told they could get someone here by 11:30 to help me unload some furniture off a moving truck. I said that time was perfect. It gave me time to unload the stuff in front of what I needed help with and time for a bit of breakfast. And then dispatch calls me at 10:15 to say they are on the way. And then 5 minutes later a guy shows up. Now mind you , in a different situation I might not mind someone showing up early. However, by not following the time schedule that THEY originally set I didn't have the time to unload the stuff that was in the way, thus causing them to do more work . And by not giving me the time to unload the stuff first it became very unorganized, and caused me more work in the long run, which is exactly what I was trying to avoid. So we all had to do more work than necessary to compensate for the dispatchers time change. But the guys that showed up were very nice. They hauled the furniture I wanted in the house. And they were both punctual.

I needed 4 helpers to move some household items. Called in the morning and had 4 guys show up 3 hours later. Great workers. Very pilot, hard working and professional. I would use this service again in a heartbeat.
