We didn’t plan on renting a car in Kodiak but our plans changed and we were able to get a rental within no time in town and dropped it off at the airport. Very good experience.

Kodiak Car Rentals was professional, easy to work with, and made the rental process seamless! I initially had a rental car reserved with another company, but when I found out Kodiak Car Rentals was located right at the airport and had availability, I decided to go with them—and I’m glad I did. Since this was a business trip, they offered a government rate that waived the taxes, which was an added bonus. Their staff was professional, responsive, and very helpful throughout the process. Whenever we travel, we try to support local small businesses and this was no exception. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The whole process was very smooth from beginning to end. The only reason why I gave a 4 instead of 5 was because I selected a specific vehicle since I’ve never driven one before but was given something else. Other than that, I’d rent from them again.

I was surprised by a new vehicle, the man at the counter was extremely polite, nice and very friendly…not to mention he was pretty funny as well.
Seamless experience. I made arrangements online ahead of time, they simply handed me keys and off I went. I selected the "flexible" option, returned the vehicle a day early and was refunded quickly. One detail that set them apart: my morning flight out was canceled due to fog and they generously allowed me to continue using the vehicle for the rest of the day at no additional cost. I really appreciate that small town, small business courtesy.

It's not cheap to rent a car on an Alaskan island, but Kodiak car rental was extremely efficient. I got a good family car with 4wd, good for the location, and was in and out quickly. Staff is helpful and kind. I recommend their services.

Had one of the best trucks I've ever rented. The experience was quick at the airport during pick up and easy to drop in the front row so it was easy to unload 4 bags at the airport. Definitely my first choice on who to rent from, next year, when I come back!

I was in Kodiak for a work trip and rented my vehicle through Kodiak Car Rentals. I cannot express how I greatly appreciated renting through them. My work project was for a week, which then extended to two weeks. I called their front desk to extend and the process was seamless extending my agreement. My project then extended for another two weeks to which I contacted them again and the process was seamless. I did not have to visit them, everything was done electronically, and I could not have asked for a better travel partner providing immense convenience. I will, for sure, be renting only from Kodiak Car Rentals. The team at this company is great with amazing customer service as well! Kudos to you all :)
The service was great, a little bummed that the Toyota Highlander wasnt available when we rented this time ...it was super nice ...but the Subaru Cross trek was nice also ......Both had more buttons and gadgets than the Batmobile....everyone was friendly and very helpful.....best of all !!!We found that we could return the vehicle back to the airport or to their mid-town Location...which is great if your catching a float plane out for further excursions.... All in All a great experience
Our group had a fantastic experience with the Kodiak Car Rentals. We traveled with a fairly large group in February, which can make logistics tricky, but Colt and the entire staff were outstanding to work with. They were incredibly accommodating and made the entire process smooth from start to finish. Communication was clear and timely, check-in was quick and easy, and everything was organized in a way that made coordinating transportation for our group stress-free. Renting a vehicle from Kodiak Car Rentals is Great! Almost everything can be done online so you dont have to fill out forms at the counter and the vehicles are always clean newer vehicles. I have never had an bad experience with them. I have been renting vehicles from them for the for over 4 years and will continue every trip to Kodiak.

I was only in Kodiak a couple of days, but needed a vehicle to get me around town. The vehicle was all ready to drive away in and it was a newer Rav4. I did not have to wait in line like my fellow passengers were doing waiting for their car. The folks treated me professionally. My music connected flawlessly to the car stereo.
