While settling my grandparents’ estate, we discovered water damage on an exterior basement wall that had been hidden behind a couch. Since the area wasn't currently wet, it was impossible to tell if the damage was an old issue from a previously leaky egress window or a current subterranean moisture problem seeping through the wall. The only way to verify was to remove the paneling and check the moisture levels. A local friend recommended USS, and the service was exceptional: • Coordination: Juanita Markham quickly set me up with Tosh Tanner for an inspection. • Thorough Inspection: Tosh provided a moisture reading and a full examination of the interior and exterior of the home. • Honesty & Documentation: He provided documentation confirming there was no active water intrusion. It turned out the damage was surface-level and had been caused by an old window that was replaced years ago. • Efficiency: This confirmation was essential for preparing the house for sale. We were beyond impressed that USS provided this service at no charge the very next day. • Flexibility: Tosh even worked his schedule around our other repair contractors so that all vendors could come through back-to-back on a single day.
