Highly recommend Josh at Fearless K9! He is extremely knowledgeable, always happy to answer questions, and very skilled at handling all types of dogs - from tiny chihuahuas to giant mastiffs! My Boerboel, who is now 2, began attending Josh’s puppy classes when he was 12 weeks old and we also had several private lessons. Boerboels can be a challenging breed, but Josh helped lay a strong foundation. Regina is always super responsive when I have called, even months after we had moved away and could no longer see them regularly anymore.

Of all the things that I have heard from dog trainers and behavior specialists, Josh’s approach is what makes most sense to me. He is patient and kind in his approach, but also very real with with you about whatever you are dealing with. I look forward to working with him again soon.

I 💯 recommend Josh and fearless K-9! I learned so much about both myself and my dog. Josh was able to diagnose that my Great Dane was not aggressive, but insecure. He came up with a plan that I was comfortable with and taught me how to use tools I was comfortable with in training my dog. We went from having a dog that needed to be put away anytime we had company, to having her roam happy and free at our 4th of July party! I still can’t believe it and would honestly tell you I would have never thought it would happen. As I sit here writing this my daughter has two friends over and the dog is out and calmly sitting next to me. Thank you to Josh and his wife Gina for saving Harley and helping her find happiness that she can enjoy with our family! If you need help with your dog, call Fearless K-9! There isn’t a dog and owner out there that they can’t help!!!

I just LOVE and HIGHLY recommend this place!!!!

I took my dog ( 5yrs old rescue pittbul Sami) to ANOTHER place and because of his excessive reactivity we were asked to leave. The trainer never responded back to me when I reached out to her afterwards 🙁

My husband find FearlessK9 online and Meeting Josh and his apprentice Joe was like a day and nite experience in compare to the other place! Josh is very professional, knowledgeable and knows his stuff for sure, especially when it comes to reactive dogs.
He spent over 2 hrs with me and Sami ( who loves people , but is reactive to other dogs) just to see what his issue is and explained everything clearly and even showed me couple things to do to start with at home.

His wife/secretary Regina is just a darling :)! I called couple of times to ask some more questions and I always got an answer or was called back, if I couldn’t reach her right away. She even has snacks and drinks at the training facility for you 😄 lol
This place is like one big doggie family where everybody makes you feel welcome and is willing to help!

We have had a great experience working with Josh! He’s very knowledgeable and great to work with. We have a Giant Schnauzer and Josh has greatly educated us on communicating with and training our dog. Working with Gina has also been wonderful — she’s very communicative and responsive when it comes to scheduling.

Josh is professional, knowledgeable, and goes above and beyond to help clients. We researched many professionals in the area before deciding to work with Fearless K9, and Josh has exceeded our expectations. In addition, Regina is responsive and helpful, and makes scheduling easy.

During our first session, Josh was patient, committed, and flexible to our concerns. He helped us understand how to respond to our puppy’s genetic predispositions and shape his responses into positive behaviors. In addition, Josh has helped us to structure our own behavior to develop a leadership position to foster security and growth in our puppy. We have seen major changes in our puppy in a short period of time and recommend Fearless K9 without reservation.

Fearless K9 trainer Josh helped us to manage and understand our very anxious and aggression prone GSD .
Now we can enjoy home visitors and public walks with our much calmer and happier dog.
These simple things were not achievable for quite a long time and our dog was considered untrainable by other training programs .

We've worked with Fearless K9 on and off for the last 5 years and highly recommend Josh and his team. He has a deep understanding of genetics and behavior and uses that to help owners build better relationships with their dogs. Safety is always top of mind and Josh is always honest about what can and cannot be achieved with a specific dog. The obedience clubs he runs are also tons of fun.

We called Josh when we started fostering dogs and our current dogs weren't allowing anyone new into the home without a fight. I brought home a Dutch Shepherd puppy without truly understanding what owning one of these working dogs is like. I would have been way over my head if not for Fearless K9. Josh takes the time to really explain my dogs behaviors from a genetic standpoint and the training needed to shape them into an obedient and happy pet. I probably wouldn’t have been able to handle my high drive girl without Josh and our lessons every week and I can’t recommend him highly enough.

We did tons of research before deciding to get a Belgian Malinois. We also knew that we would need to partner with a good trainer. We were very lucky to find Josh and Fearless K9 (actually Gina found us at Beacon Barks!). We have been working with Josh for almost 6 years now. Pepper is trained in Advanced Obedience, Protection and some scent work. It has been an amazing journey. We started with Josh when she was a few months old, worked on obedience, building her confidence and directing her drive. Josh is patient, open to trying new things, works to understand what is driving behaviors and creates workable solutions. It’s all about creating a relationship with your dog and being fair. He takes the time to explain the concepts and answer questions. Even with a trained 6 year old we encounter new things to be worked on. Josh is always there for us. The weekly classes are so much fun! We get the opportunity to try out our skills in a safe environment with other dogs and distractions. It’s one thing to say your dog is trained and will sit/stay on command, but will they when 5 other dogs are in the room with various levels of energy? We look forward to every training session. Pepper actually knows the words “Do you want to go to bite club?” and will run to the car. She loves it. We can’t say enough about Josh and his training style. We would recommend him to anyone with any type of dog and any type of issue.

Fearless K9 was exactly what we needed and still use. Josh is incredibly knowledgeable, respectful, helpful, professional and always available if and when needed.

He has helped us learn more about the breed of dog we have, how to train him and how to manage all the behaviors and situations we have found ourselves in.

Fearless K-9 offers a large variety of services, on site and at your home. We have continued to advance with our training needs and Fearless K9 has a program for all of our needs.

They also have custom made leashes and other training tools. As well as home made treats that are made from dried beef and chicken. Our dogs love them (as well as our kitten, who steals them from the dogs).

I would recommend Fearless K9 to anyone in need of dog training. It would be worth your while to take a look into Fearless K9.
