Apex Roofing of Westford did a fantastic job with a re-roof of my 30 year old home, John helped pick the color of Landmark Pro Driftwood and I’m glad we went with it. They pointed me to many houses with the different colors we liked and this really helped us choose as the small samples really don’t do justice in my opinion.
They explained all the materials that would be used on the house and the process we would go through. The dumpster and outdoor facilities were delivered the day prior to the installation. A large crew and material were delivered the morning of and the project began and finished on time, it was on budget, and it looks fantastic. The new roof and solar skylights provides the safety we wanted for winter.
The crew was always considerate and worked hard each day. They essentially wrapped the house and bushes with tarps for protection while working. After, they cleaned up everything and the house looks very fresh with the new roof and the solar skylights operate great.

I have nothing but good things to say about my experience with Apex Roofing. They were very thorough during the bidding process and provided a clear and understandable quote for the job. We had large fairly complicated roof and skylights that needed to be replaced as well as the roof of a separate out building. Their price was reasonable and they were able to complete the 2-day job within a week after the contract was signed. Their crew of installers was the hardest working team I have ever seen, and the workmanship was superb. Site protection of our landscaping and the final cleanup was great too.

I have been a construction site supervisor for close to 40 years. I have over seen dozens of roofing contractors, on dozens and dozens of buildings. I have a very focused and experienced eye for details, in product, application, finished product, quality control, crew dynamics. I watched Apexs crew strip off and re-roof my own house. The crew were a well oiled machine. They were friendly, knowledgeable, and no one was complaining or slacking off. Everyone was working, everyone knew what to do. No yelling, no drama. The materials used were the best I could have gotten. They brought their own porta-potti, which was removed right after they finished up. Any questions I had (very few) were answered right away. The grounds were cleaned up while the job progressed, not left for the bitter end. My lawn, bushes, shrubs, driveway, gutters, deck, stairs were left clean. I have seen many roofing companies in action, and I have to say Apexs crew was the smoothest running crew I have seen. I recommend this company to anyone looking for a perfect job done by considerate and skilled people.

We loved our unique rough-sawn cedar shake roof. But after 30 years (without a single leak) it had become truly its own “living” environment in the Harvard woods where we live.The moss, algae and all sorts of microorganisms had feasted on the now crumbling cedar. It was time. We decided to have the roof replaced by Apex Roofing & Restoration. The choice of roofing materials was difficult but the practicality of installing high quality architectural shingles was the best decision. We were beyond impressed with the entire experience. From start to finish, the team demonstrated exceptional professionalism, expertise, and attention to detail on our very complicated roof.  Right from the initial consultation, both John Jr and John Sr were incredibly responsive and informative. They took the time to explain every step of the process, provided a detailed estimate, and offered expert recommendations on every specific aspect of our complex project. Scheduling was carefully considered with the unpredictable New England weather making it very challenging. They made sure we were fully informed about the timeline and progress at every stage. The office staff of Michelle & Karen were great to work with. Communication was helpful and reliable. The quality of the finished work is phenomenal. With many complicated angles and pitches every shingle was installed with precision. The roof looks flawless. Great service from initial contact (via email) through installation and site cleanup! John answered all questions and provided a prompt quote, details of the process (delivery of materials, dumpster, etc.) were clear, and follow up at the end of the job was prompt. The installation crew arrived on time and worked through the day to complete the job (strip old roof materials and installation of all new materials). The crew members were polite and respectful. The crew didnt leave until the site was completely clean. Highly recommend Apex Roofing for your roofing needs.

Apex Roofing did a great job on our new roof. From the first visit to work up a quote to the actual project and follow up, their team was professional, courteous, and competent. We needed extra work done (fascia boards, gutter covers) and that was all handled well with up front price estimates coming in accurately. The roofing crew had to manage cold and rainy conditions in the second half of the day but they worked hard to finish the job before dark. Clean up was very thorough too. Highly recommend.

We hired Apex for a new roof. All went as expected. Apex communicated exceptionally well on what to expect leading up to the roof date concerning drop off materials, dumpster delivery etc. The day of they were on time making sure to cover outdoor plants and shrubs. Wonderful experience from the quote to the install. Quote was quick, no nonsense or frills. The office was great to deal with and scheduling was fast and easy. Crew arrived early, was super respectful, easy to communicate with and finished the job (and clean up) in a day. Apex was also able to provide a solution for a tricky skylight, lots of expertise. Smooth process start to finish and our roof looks great, highly recommend.

We have had somewhat higher than usual requirements for our roof replacement project. It took quite a few rounds to figure everything out (talked to both John Sr and John Jr to make sure our needs are addressed), but once the project started it was executed very well. The crew was very hardworking, it took them three days to complete (most of roof replacements are done in one day as the owner said), but in the end we are satisfied with the result. The damage to the lawn and flower beds was minimal, there are some noticeable scuffs on siding from ladders (well, can't make an omelet without breaking a few eggs). But now we have a new roof, most of it asphalt shingles; the most problematic section is now metal, and all trim which was hardly accessible for me has been replaced with PVC (which will last for the lifetime of the house, maintenance free). The price was reasonable, especially for the roof part, the trim came out more expensive than we planned - about the cost of the roof itself (but we did have an estimate per linear foot upfront to be fair), so can't really complain. I waited through a few heavy rains and checked for any leaks in the attic and couldn't find any, so very happy about it so far. Thank you for our new roof!

It was a good experience. They started at 7:30 am and had 7 guys working on the roof, and 1 person on the ground. Halfway thru the project we decided that the plywood was the wrong size and in bad shape. We decided to replace all the plywood with 1/2 inch plywood. And they still finished the job that day. I could not have asked for a better roof replacement experience. For some background, I own a deck house built in the 1970s and had no idea when my roof was last replaced, by whom, or if the work was done correctly. I needed to hire a company with the ability to deal with anything once those shingles were lifted, and I chose the right team! They were able to complete a total roof replacement -- with complete replacement of all plywood, chimney flashing, rain and ice shielding and PVC siding replacement -- all in one day! They were fanatical about keeping my property clean and leaving it exactly as they found it. They came into the house numerous times during the replacement to ensure no damage was being done to the inside of the house during the process since these older deck houses can be a little tricky. The end product is perfect. They may not have been the lowest estimate I received, but you get what you pay for! I would not hesitate to have them replace ANY roof. They have the experience and expertise to get the job done the right way. Exceptional!

The experience with apex Roofing was fantastic and painless. John and his son (also John) were most helpful when deciding what I needed (roof and skylights) and their price was significantly better than the competition. The crew showed up on time, all materials, a dumpster and a portable potty were there, and they worked very professionally and hard to get the job done within one very long day. There was no damage to the yard, house or bushes and they cleaned the whole area beautifully. The dumpster was removed the next morning and the portable potty the next day.
