It was a bit of a hassle to pick up but it was so very appreciated as a way to get around New York. We stayed in a central location and could get around fairly well during the day. At night, it was more of a challenge do to crossing the streets as the scoops to get on the sidewalks were sometimes where you usually cross and sometimes on the corner and you couldnt see them due to the people until you were right there. 8th street had a wide area only for pedestrians so I would recommend using it as long as you can. This made my trip so much more enjoyable!

They reached out via email immediately after I booked a mobility scooter and delivered it to my hotel within an hour. The equipment worked well for the 3 days that I used it and they picked it up at my hotel so it was very convenient.

They were very helpful in getting us set up with a mobility scooter rental after my uncles stroke. We have our own motorized scooter (7 miles distance), but decided to rent a motorized scooter (14 mile distance) from this company for our trip to New York. The cost was very reasonably priced. It was delivered to our hotel and was there upon our arrival. It was easy to use and charge up every night. The front basket was a good size to store water bottles, bags, backpack, etc. The BEST thing was not having any stress or worry about the battery running out of power mid-day and having to find a place to recharge the battery. 😅❤️ When we checked out of the hotel, we left the motorized scooter with the concierge. We highly recommend this company to provide for your scooter needs. Thank you Big Apple Mobility!!

Cambio por completo mi estadía en Nueva York con un familiar que neecsita asistencia para movilizarse y el scooter funcionó perfecto, la batería dura muchísimo, un día caminamos 16 km y solo bajo 1 punto de 10 de la batería. While visiting NYC, my wife was recovering from knee surgery. Although she can walk a couple of blocks fairly well, much more than that becomes painful and problematic. On our second day in the city, we realized that it'd be helpful to have some mobility assistance. We decided to rent a wheelchair so that I could take her on longer outings. After finding great reviews for Big Apple Mobility, we decided to call on them for wheelchair rental. Genius decision! Everything about the interaction was fantastic. The wheelchair was promptly delivered to our hotel. The cost was more than reasonable and they even picked up the wheelchair at the end of our stay. It was all perfect. We couldn't possibly recommend BAM more highly.
