A water line to a toilet broke while we were out of town and our entire house flooded. Less than 3 hours after I called Atex, they had someone on site and starting the cleanup. ATEX Water Damage and Restoration company went over and above my expectations in restoring my home. I had what I considered to be a small fire that was quickly put out so the damage was contained. ATEX came in and cleaned the whole house to be sure the smoke fumes were gone and all the lint was cleaned out. They repaired a wall that was punched into to be sure the fire was not behind the area. The fire was in my laundry room. ATEX completely redid that room including repair of the holes and sheet rock but also painting the whole room and ceiling! They even redid the texture on the ceiling and all the walls. I owe ATEX a LOT of thanks. I was very lucky and blessed by everyone who brought my house back to me in BETTER condition that it was.

The quality of workmanship was exceptional, and the crews were very professional. In my circumstance, communication and responsiveness was critical since it involved a rental property and the scheduling included my tenant. An added benefit of using Atex was that they handled everything with my insurance company. I wasn't saddled with handling my insurance company once they began the work. I’ve never had the pleasure of working with a more compassionate group of people during a difficult time. Having water pour from your ceiling from an upstairs water malfunction is not something you deal with every day as a homeowner. Not knowing what’s next, how much money is coming out of your pocket, what it means for the state of your house, all of the uncertainty is a heavy weight to carry all at once. It would be easy for a company to come in and do their job robotically almost in a routine mindset without regard to the emotional state of the homeowner. Junior, Bryan, Donovan, and Kim were the furthest thing from that! Junior took a lot of time to explain the situation and possible next steps with me while trying to be as gentle as possible, knowing it was a lot for me to take in. Bryan, Donovan, and Kim were so kind as they worked through the house setting everything up for mitigation, knowing this was about to change my current environment for the next few days. Luckily it was nothing but great news when they came to check on everything and they were able to successfully dry everything out, remove their equipment and be on their way, but not without smiles and hugs.
