Dr. Hood was very professional and friendly he was open for questions and explained my results very clearly. Also he was concerned if I had anything else that was of concern about my health.

Dr Hood is amazing. Very nice and answered all questions, and consernes I had all my medications including my pain meds ( very important) prior to my surgery. The day of surgery went very smooth. Dr Hood and his staff put my mind at ease about everything that was about to happen. They sent me home with an ice machine, and had all my future appointments set. I'm half way through my recovery, and all is good. I will definitely be using him when I'm ready to get the other knee done. I 100% recommend Dr Hood for your knee surgery.

Dr. Hood fixed my broken ankle. Now getting ready for full knee replacement on both. My whole body has been out of wack for 8 years now. I can't wait to feel normal again. Office staff are All so very nice and accommodating.

I seen Dr Hood today for a torn tendon on my bicep. He was extremely thourgh, took a great amount of time with me, and explained everything in layman's terms. I highly recommend him.

Doctor Hood repaired a complicated femur break for me. He was the only medical resource in the state of Indiana that could repair my issue. He informed me of what my procedure would be and the challenges I would have. He and his team were there 24/7/365 to meet my needs. I needed his assistance in extending my stay at a physical rehabilitation facility and he wrote a letter to help me remain safe there. Best ortho care subject matter expert in our area.

I had my first visit-consultation with Dr Hood. A referral from my primary care physician. Upon entering the room, he was very friendly and engaging. As he went over my film, he made it easy to understand and was very informative. He went over my goals-plans in moving forward with continuing to have a productive life; I felt very comfortable.The staff from setting my appointment to taking my x-rays; all were very kind.

I have seen 2 other orthopedic doctors and I have been so worried. Dr Hood is the 3rd orthopedic doctor that I've seen. The first time I went to see him, he was so knowledgeable. He gave me so much information that the ohther 2 doctors never even mentioned. Information that was so very vital to my health. I left feeling like I was in the right place. I just seen him yesterday for my first knee injections. I didn't feel any pain during the procedure.. He's really good. Not only is he very knowledgeable as an orthopedic doctor, but he has great bedside manners. I need a hip and both knees replaced eventually. I was so shocked to find that out but I know that I am in the best hands. That makes all the difference for me and my family.

I am able to walk 1 3/4 miles now. Before my surgery I wasn’t able to walk a1/4 of a mile. The pain from the bone on bone in my hip is gone. The only pain now is from rebuilding of muscle that was lost from not being able to walk or work from the pain of the damaged hip. 😁
Dr. Hood was extremely clear and knowledgeable in his communication with me, detailing what to expect from A to B, including post-op recovery. He cheerfully took the time to answer my list of questions, and gave helpful directives to support my post-op healing. In addition, he seems to be extremely skilled in closing the incision, resulting in a smooth, minimal scar.
Dr. Hood and staff did a wonderful job with my full hip replacement. After the initial consultation while looking at X-rays and discussing different options, I decided to go with the hip replacement. We discussed the injection and felt it wasn't a good fit for me. I am 6 weeks out, and so happy that I went forward with the surgery. Everything went well, the staff was there to answer my questions, and continue to be there through the healing process. I had gone to a competitor (OI), and they were no help. I'm so glad I got a second opinion and found Dr Hood. If I needed another hip replacement I would definitely come to him again.
Dr. Hood was honest and upfront regarding everything involved with my total hip replacement. No sugar coating. He and his team were fantastic throughout the whole process! I’m now 6 weeks in, and I can walk again without pain. I still more rehab to do, but I finally have my life back! Thank you, Dr. Hood!
