I was happy when I learned that Top Fitness is the new name of the Precor Home Fitness store on Stevens Creek, because I am a fan of this store and its staff. In hindsight(*), the elliptical I purchased from that store in mid/late 2019 is one of my two favorite pre-COVID purchases. (Bought it shortly before the pandemic began, and in case you're wondering, the other favorite pre-COVID purchase was high speed internet for the house.) The staff at this store were super-knowledgeable and patient with all of my questions. They let me try out things in the store, which helped me make an informed decision. They have excellent follow-up and after the initial set up, sent a knowledgeable pair of technicians to help get the machine set up properly in my home. The technicians explained how things worked and had VERY useful suggestions for keeping the machine happy (e.g., tips for getting a level surface and how to protect the innards from dust). Nearly three years later, I remain a very happy customer. (*) -- 2020 was, after all, the year of hindsight.

We went to this store during memorial day weekend to investigate treadmills and purchase, if we found the right one. Rudy was the Sales Associate who attended on us. I had lots of questions so that I could truly find a treadmill that would truly fit my situation. I can't say enough about this store or about Rudy. I was grilling him with questions, all of which he answered very patiently and even elaborated helpfully with additional background, when I didn't seem entirely convinced. Once I had narrowed down the choices, I subjecyed Rudy to a lot of very specific questions regarding each machine. There was a wide price difference between the three, but to Rudy's great credit, he never once tried to upsell me towards the more expensive model. He patiently answered all my questions, pointed out the pros and cons of each, and let me make my own decision. I did end up buying a Precor treadmill, which was discounted generously for the memorial day weekend. Once the sale was concluded, Rudy clearly explained the delivery process, which included assembly as part of the sale. It turned out exactly as he had described! One day prior to delivery, I got a call from the delivery company giving me a 3 hour window for delivery the next day, between 8:30am to 11:30am. Sure enough, the next day, I received a call saying they were 10 min away and in fact arrived in 8 minutes! They were there barely 30 minutes during whih time, they removed an old machine, brought in and assembled the new one, and walked me through the basic operation, after which they handed me a detailed manual. They also carried awsy the packaging the new machine came in. All through, they were very pleasant and very easy to communicate with. I've been using the treadmill for 4 days now and recommend it very highly. It's everything it was purported to be and then some. I would also highly recommend The Top Fitness Store - Cupertino and Rudy, the Sales Associate who attended on us. It is a very spacious and well arranged show room with lots of choices and very friendly and professional associates who don't try to upsell which to me would've been an instant turn off. It’s a good place for group workout sessions. You try to push yourself for better body fitness in the 1 hour long session. The coaches are amazing and they help correct our posture on the weight floor.

This is a great place to get educated on elliptical machines and other fitness equipment. The branch manager, Mark, is very knowledgeable about various types of elliptical machines' wheel positions, stride, and incline options. We ended up purchasing from here because of the service and support from both Mark and Alex. Highly Recommended if you need to find something to help you sweat a little more.

I always pass by Precor when going to TJ Maxx and Philz Coffee. I never went in because I was intimidated by anything gym-related (more of a yoga person and had bad experiences at the gym). A few years ago, I tried a promotion at OTF to see what the hype was about and discovered I liked using the rowing machine. I am not a fan of cardio but the Waterrower machine was therapeutic and felt like being on the water. When the pandemic hit, I needed to find a way to exercise at home where I would actually commit. Doing yoga at home was not enough because my bed or couch was right there so I would somehow find my way there in 5 minutes. After some research, I finally decided to go into Precor to see if they sold rowing machines. Usually, I love this brand for the amazing ellipticals. They also sell other fitness equipment such as weights, kettlebells, etc. I met Mark and he is the NICEST person ever. He was very sweet and knowledgeable. I had a lot of questions since I was unsure what type of rowing machine I wanted especially after all the research. Mark was patient, answered all my questions, and showed me how to move the Waterrower properly. They were able to deliver the machine about a week later and there was no hassle at all. I would highly recommend Mark and the Precor team for your fitness needs! Great expertise and easy to work with.

This review is lonnnng overdue. Precor absolutely SAVED us during the pandemic-- we wanted to buy some VERY large, VERY heavy exercise equipment, but someone in our household is in the high risk group for COVID-19, so 1) we had to be so careful and 2) we needed sales people who could help us with measurements over the phone and be empathetic to our needs and our situation. First, I called a different Precor location, not realizing it wasn't the closest one to me (it was just a few miles further than the Cupertino location). The associate there helped me a ton over the phone with measurements, and answered all my questions. Then, I realized the Cupertino location would be closer, and Alex in Cupertino picked up right where the other location left off. There was total collaboration between the locations, and it was seamless-- there was no pressure over any commission or anything like that. It was AWESOME. And on top of that.... Costco had the same machine on sale. But ALL the reviews showed that the delivery experience from Costco was a total nightmare-- the delivery people would leave this massive equipment on the street and the customers would have a terrible time. With Precor, I got a price-matched offer, AND they delivered it right up to my front door (3rd floor), perfectly. This is a big deal, because I can't carry the machine parts up myself, and it's hard to find a reliable delivery option with large equipment like this! Alex at Cupertino Precor-- thank you SO much for going above and beyond to answer my questions and arrange a flawless delivery. Thank you!!!!!

The store has an excellent selection of ellipticals, treadmills, rowing machines and other exercise equipment. We were helped by Lori who is very knowledgeable and patient. She listened to our needs and helped us select an elliptical unit that compliments our exercise regime. We never felt rushed or pressured. I with my wife purchased an elliptical at Precor Home Fitness in Cupertino for my wife Morly. Morly wanted to be sure that the Spirit XE295 Elliptical we are buying fully meets her needs and what she was used to at the gym.
