We called for help with a leak coming from our upstairs bathroom into the ceiling below. The dispatchers were excellent to deal with. Brian arrived on time was able to locate the problem quickly and efficiently. He offered us 3 options for the repair and showed us all the costs up front. He was very professional and left the repair area spotless when he was finished. As well as getting the job done on time at the promised cost he was very personable and showed genuine interest in helping us choose the best solution. We would highly recommend Gentlemen Plumbers and Brian specifically.

They were arrived when they said they would. Jeff even brought his own mats so there would be no puddles from the boots going in and out ,he took the time to explain what he was doing and why to the both of us also the cost was very reasonable

We had a drain problem that involved the whole kitchen, dishwasher, laundry room and laundry tubs. We called Gentlemen plumbers of Calgary and agreed to pay the $69.95 visit/assessment fee. Colin and Dan showed up 15 minutes early for the 0900hrs appointment. Wow, two guys in professional attire with ties! They were careful to wear slip on shoe covers each time they moved from the truck to the house. They replaced cast iron drain pipes in the laundry room, installed the proper traps and venting, augured the drains and completed a video assessment all the way to the septic tank. The cost was less than $1200 including our seniors discount. More importantly we approved each procedure and pricing in advance from a fixed price list. At the end of the visit they provided a written assessment of the entire plumbing and heating systems in our house so we have a benchmark of this crucial system. They cleaned up their work areas and took the garbage with them. So this is what a professional plumbing organization looks like. BRAVO! What a difference!

RESIDENTIAL UNDERGROUND WATER PIPE REPAIR: It was painful having to pay for underground water pipe repair, it is very expensive. We contracted with the Gentleman Plumbers (GP) to have a trench-less water pipe pull. Fortunately the repair went as hoped, the line didn't break when they pulled the old pipe out followed by the new pipe. The technology is quite impressive, it allows for a repair that doesn't require substantial digging from the Cities curb-stop starts all the way to where the water pipe meets the house. In our case, the GP team used a hydro vac to suck out a hole about 10 feet deep and about 10 square feet wide on our side of the curb-stop. GP used an echo locator to find the path of the water pipe under the ground (really neat technology) and then cut the pipe at the house. Our water pipe had been visibly leaking for a couple of weeks, and water was pooling on the street turning it to an ice rink. We were warned that the ground would be very wet and that during the excavation the sides of the walls could collapse with a resultant hole that would require much greater driveway repair - that didn't happened, lucky for us (I'm resistant to say we were lucky because of the leak in the first place, but you know, silver lining and all). And as mentioned earlier, the line could have broken when they were pulling under the ground, in our case, about 13 meters - that didn't happen. The GP team, quarterbacked by Collin, was excellent. This team had their game on! As discussed there was the potential to have this thing go sideways and cost a lot more than it did, if that happened I think I would have still given them high marks because of their professionalism. They possessed all the qualities you would hope for in a contractor: punctual, polite, open, informative, knowledgeable, with straight forward pricing. And the team was able to perform the repair two days after giving us the quote and that was huge. They worked from 8 AM to 11 PM and maintained the same professionalism throughout the day. I hope you never have to pay for a water line repair. In fact, call your insurance agent and ask them about adding insurance. But if you do need this work, I can highly recommend GP to do the job.

A big thank you of appreciation to Nick, Kyle, Dan, Trevor and Walter for the great job they did in repairing our under basement floor sewer. The sewer had backed up several times, the guys scoped to id the issues, major bellying and poor slope. They excavated and replaced a ton of concrete, and relayed and sloped the sewer, all with minimal impact on our home. We appreciate the very professional job and level of care. Jesse initially arrived to address a bathroom plumbing issue. Completed work in a timely manner; unfortunately discovering a more serious and extensive problem with cast iron pipes breaking down. Nick & Jesse returned next day with Walter and worked diligently to prepare for re-laying pipes. A very long day for them and lots of heavy work. Nick & Walter returned yet again to lay pipe and prepare for cement work. Nick & Walter & Trevor finished clean up and cement work in a few hours and we're done! Plumbing updated & all secure. These gentlemen worked very long hard days, were always polite, maintained the cleanliness of my home and I would highly recommend them They came recommended to me and I would have no hesitation using them again or referring them.

We called this company due to a blocked line and waited for the technition to arrive, not expecting him to be on time. My tenant discovered a small leak on a Saturday evening. By 9 pm I not only had the leak diagnosed and repaired, I had complimentary inspection of the rest of the plumbing, which highlighted a few things to fix in the future. Terrific! Called about 11:30 am about a leak in the basement and Ryan was dispatched and arrived by 1:30 pm. He was quick to find the problem (a corroded pipe) and had it fixed within a couple of hours. He did an excellent job of cleaning up and was really professional. I will definitely be calling them back when I plan to rough in a bathroom down there. The free house inspection after was a nice touch! The Gentlemen Plumbers... that is an accurate name.

We have a boiler and old radiators in our house instead of forced air heat. When our system was having problems, other companies sent people who didn't have the knowledge or motivation to tackle the problem properly. Our heat failed in November so we called these guys. The receptionist was extremely positive and was able to work their scheduling system to see us on a Sunday night on a long weekend. She was patient, understanding, professional, and just straight up pleasant. Were I to freeze to death in real life, this is who I would call to make me feel better. I talked to Jeff on the phone and he made sure that he had a good handle on our problem. He was honest about boilers being more challenging to diagnose and repair, and he was also professional and patient when hearing out my concerns. The people who came to our home were Dan and Kyle. These guys approached the problem with the methodical determination that defines proper Albertans. They were upfront about what they were going to do, how that would help them diagnose and solve the problem, and how long it was going to take. There were a lot of old parts in our system, but they made sure to get everything done properly. Even with our annoying cat occasionally waltzing in to ask for attention, they were always polite and professional. Bottom line, these guys and this company answered the bell and got the job done right.
