Nice spot on the beach! Nicely remodeled. Rental needs a little attention, floor buckling from moisture built at the AC unit. Filter not changed in a long time. Electric not working in some areas and musty smell from being closed up. Hurricane damage may have caused moisture. Rental company should check on this and let owner know what's up.

Jake was great!! All 3 days on Carolina Beach our chairs and umbrellas were set up , on time , and clearly marked.

The guys ran up and down the beach all day making sure everyone’s umbrellas were staying in place. We waved them down and asked them to move us closer to the ocean, they were more than happy to. We will for sure rent next time we are down.

Pleasure Island Rentals was an awesome experience. My wife and I as empty nesters and were looking to spend the day on the beach for the first time without having to haul our house and chairs on the beach. Pleasure Island made it so easy and it was so affordable. We called the number and the chairs and umbrella were waiting for us all set. We thoroughly enjoyed the setup and even commented on how easy it was to work with them. I said to my wife; that’s customer service and the way to run a business. 5 stars. We left the beach that day and didn’t have to touch chairs or umbrellas. Awesome experience. Highly recommend.

Prompt and courteous team at the shop. Opened right on time, took my beach chair order and had everything setup within an hour same day. The next morning our chairs were already set out with our name on them by 7am. Very convenient!

Biking around town, paddle boarding in the surf or the canal, or kayaking around Masonborow island or around the waterway. Pleasure Island Rentals, they got you !! Then at the end of your long day of adventure around the island of Pleasure on Pleasure Island Rentals equipment. Great service! We called 2 days before and they were easily able to accommodate us. They pick a spot very cose to where your staying and set everything up for you. The umbrellas are sturdy and large enough for 2/3 people to be covered. Definitely recommend! The start set up at 9am so you get a perfect beach location without having to rush!

Exactly what we were looking for. We needed a little shade on the beach and they were able to have an umbrella up and ready for us the next day after calling. Prices were competitive and I would highly recommend Pleasure Island Rentals. Also with Please Island Rentals placing our umbrella by 9 am each morning, it also saved us a great location on the beach.

Our group rented bikes for the week so we could just leave our car parked. We had the best time with the bikes. We rode everywhere. The check in process was quick and easy. Loved having the basket and the bike lock included. Returning the bikes was also quick. We will definitely be back!!

We rented an umbrella and two body boards. The service was exceptional and the team members were very helpful and polite. The umbrella set up was so convenient and located very close to our condo rental making for a perfect day at the beach.

Our umbrellas were up and waiting for us everyday in a great location in the spot we requested! It was well worth the money to not have to put up our own, but especially to not have to take anything down at the end of a long day on the beach!

Good: It's so nice to head to the beach without having to lug heavy chairs & umbrellas, set them up, and then take them down. Pleasure Island does all that for you. $250 for the week is expensive, but we found it to be worth the cost (albeit borderline). Setup was always on time. And staff was very helpful & friendly as they checked in on us. Bad: Some of the chairs & umbrellas were showing signs of aging.

good products. couldn't do the tour because of covid. so we just rented and paddled around the basin. took a long time to get someone on the phone but I think they are just that busy. all and all...I would rent again from them.
