GoogleThe price was great and the equipment was in great shape. I wish they had offered to help load the kayak. It was difficult to lift it and put it on my vehicle, especially in the wind that is always blowing. The delivery fee for going across the bridge was more than the rental itself so I didn't think that was to cool. I had a great time on my kayak trip so it was well worth the rental price.

GooglePleasure Island rentals is located right near the beach which was perfect for me. I strapped a SUP and kayak on top of my car and drove them right into Freeman Park. The quality of the rental was great. The price was maybe a little high but it was worth it for how much fun we had.

My dad and mom wanted to be on the beach but struggled to navigate the sand. The two young men that put the umbrella and chairs out each day were very willing to set them up wherever was best for my parents. Great experience!

The bikes were a 4 stars. We rented 4, one bike we couldn’t adjust the seat, one bike had a low tire so it was hard to ride and the helmets didn’t fit well. That being said, we didn’t contact them because we only used 2 bikes at a time, so we managed, we only rented for 3 days so we didn’t bother to call, but they were so nice, I’m sure they would have come out to fix! The delivery service was great, again such friendly people!

GoogleHelpful and kind staff. Me and my wife had a wonderful experience kayaking and renting their bikes. They even told us a great place to head to on the kayak. Right across the street from their shop was a great neighborhood to ride in with little traffic. Couldn’t have asked for more.
FacebookI was in need of a bike rental recently and went to Pleasure Island Rental. Their price are spot on with being competitive with other rental companies. The gentleman (sorry I wish I remembered his name) that assisted me was efficient and very helpful. He offered to deliver and pick it up if I so desired. There was no need because I wasn't staying that far away but it was nice to know that they would. I recommend them for your rental needs while vacationing. There are kayaks, paddle boards as well as chairs and umbrellas for the beach and of-course they have many other things to meet your needs will vacationing. if your in Carolina Beach give them a call.

GoogleRented two trike bikes for a week and we loved them! So easy to ride, especially for my unsure child. But great for adults too as it was easy, didn't have to even think about balancing, just got to ride around town enjoying the experience with little thought or effort. They picked up bikes at our rental home which made it all the easier. Would definitely do again!

FacebookI had a great experience with my bike rental. It was last-minute, no reservation, quick and easy. The bikes are super comfy. They’re a “Townie” style, so the seats and handlebars are nice and wide. The price is so affordable and I love that they will kit it out with helmet, lock, and basket at no extra charge if you need those items. I will definitely go back if I get to Carolina Beach next year!
