BBBBBBI had a quote from sales which was surprising less than the amount for a combi boiler to replace my heating boiler and stand alone water heater replacement was going to cost. The installation, done by Dean and Trevor was completed on the exact dates they scheduled me for and the operation of the system was explained clearly, and the cleanup was meticulous. The office staff was very helpful in providing me with all the forms and explanations I needed to apply for the rebates. The final invoice price was just a touch under the quoted amount. I wound not hesitate at recommending Thomson Industries.

GoogleWorking with Thomson was a great experience. I had my furnace upgraded to a new high efficiency model. From contacting them to come out and get a quote, to the installation itself, they were always great with the speed of their communication. The installation was painless and the district inspector who came by to look at the work afterwards said how good of a job they did. Would highly recommend.

They arrived on time for the estimate and he was very informative and explained what the process would be and left us with a quote. We booked an appointment with them and they arrived on time. After they finished installing the new furnace and thermostat they cleaned everything up. They did such a nice job on the furnace and went through the new furnace & thermostat usage with us so we could understand. We are very happy with the new furnace and customer service we will definitely use them again when we need to replace our hot water tank. I would highly recommend them.

The entire process went very smoothly from the free in home estimate to the installation. Very professional company and very honest as well. They were there when they said they would be..all done in one day. The company followed up with us and their admin staff is great as well. I would highly recommend this company. They were not too expensive either....very affordable and the Fortis Rebate is great!!

Very happy with install, no shortcuts, made sure venting didn’t obscure an upstairs window, installed a more expensive single combination vent termination which I had discussed with the sales representative but was not listed on the contract. Hauled away old furnace, installed new thermostat and cleaned up afterwards. Office followed up with necessary paperwork to submit for rebates. Very professional customer centric business. GooglePositive: Professionalism, Quality, Value We used to have a gas furnace that heats the house very unevenly and our basement was freezing cold. Recently we took advantage of the Clean BC rebate to switch to a Daikin mini split ductless heat pump system supplied and installed by Thomson. The zonal heating works great and the rooms and living areas are now warm and breezy. Hadn't got the chance to try out the cooling yet for the hot days, but Daikin has got one of the best reputations worldwide for air conditioning systems so we wouldn't worry about it at all. They also back their systems with 12 years parts and labour warranty which is best in industry. Thomson provided very good service, from the initial site visit, sizing, to the install and electric work and taking out the old furnace. They got good, experienced people. One area of improvement though: they were a bit slow to patch up a couple spots in the dry wall, which took a couple weeks of chasing up. If not for that, I'll give the experience a five star rating. Overall I'm happy to recommend this company to my friends.

One never did show (even after on-line request, followed by two phone calls), the others were chicken scratch on a product brochure. I would recommend these guys based on their professionalism and value.
GoogleThe price for the Tankless hot water system was reasonable and well below the other company. Not to say the product was cheap but through my research, it was one of the better brands. The installation guys were were friendly and knowledgeable. Answered all our questions, which was different from the sales guy answers. That is why 4 out of 5 stars.

BBBVery professional, community feel to Thomson, the down to earth honesty from the first appointment had us decided. Nick (who we hope dressed as captain America for Halloween because he is the spit of him:) was excellent and installed our furnace in a day with no major issues, we're still waiting for access panels to cover some holes in the basement wall to fully complete the job but have been assured they'll be installed soon. He went above and beyond to open a ticket for us and the reapir was covered by warranty. The repair tech really went above and beyond to make the repair and ensure we were satisfied. We were more than satisfied... we are sleeping well now with a quiet and efficient unit that functions better than new.

FacebookThompson put two mini splits (heat pumps) into our townhome last year. A week ago we got the units serviced on the one year anniversary. Most impressed with the staff that came into our home on the install and service call. Very knowledgeable about their products and took the time to explain the ins and outs. The heat pumps have been nice to have, supplying a nice even temperature throughout the past winter. Not impressed with efficiency as we saw an increase in our hydro bill. This year will be the tell tale as we recently pumped in additional insulation to an R50 into the attic.
