GoogleThompson Industries were recommended to me for my furnace/hot water install. The staff are very professional. Rob (sales) reviewed my needs and was very competitive with pricing. Rob highlighted the long warranty period of the products recommended.. I had an installation appointment and received two reminders of the upcoming appointment. The office staff were very attentive. The install crew were professional, vacuumed after removing every bit of the old furnace/tank and were very pleasant and polite. I would not hesitate to recommend Thompson Industries for anyone else's work.

I think the real stars if this place is Aleksandra, and the install team (I only got to speak with Rob and James). Communication was always open and prompt. BBBThomson rep (Bruce) came out to give me a quote for a ***** boiler. Explained what would be done and wrote what they were going to do. After reviewing the quotes, I went with Thomson Industries. They gave me a date that they would be coming to replace, and remove the boiler and hot water tanks. They were on time and completed the work in the time that they had indicated. Dean and Corey did a great job, leaving the worksite very clean. I would recommend Thomson Industries.

Thomson was the most competitive on price and was informative and responsive. Their communication and follow up was impressive and the installer we had (Dean) was excellent. I am very satisfied and definitely would recommend them to others needing HVAC and plumbing work.

Would of liked communication in this regard so that I could of completed an errand in this time frame. Workers were proficient with their work and completed the project in the time frame required. I would of liked to of have someone tell me initially in advance what furniture needed to be moved so that I could have the site ready for the tradesmen when they arrived. Instead I had a number of heavy items that needed to be moved immediately upon arrival. All in all happy with the work, cleaned up and left our place clean. I would recommend them to put in your ductless heating.

Initial consultant didn't respond to my preferred form of communication, email. I ended up dealing directly with the office. Installers did not inform me of the next steps to apply for the Fortis rebate. This was, once again, resolved by the office.

GoogleI had a 32 year old Superhot boiler and a 20 year old bosch water heater replaced with a Rinnai i120cn combi. I had an excellent experience with everyone I dealt with at Thomson. Starting with Amber and Aleksandra in the office, Bruce who came out to give me a quote, and finally Dean who actually did the installation, and his helper/apprentice Sarwar. I was very pleased with the result. I have included before and after pictures. They really don’t show the magnitude of the transformation that took place. In the before picture the old boiler hides quite a mess, and it was difficult to access the zone valves. All rectified with the new installation. I was also impressed with the speed at which Dean dealt with a couple of tweaking problems I had, actually coming back out on a Sunday to remedy the situation. To top it off, I was helped with the paperwork needed to apply for the Fortis grant. Thank you!

BBBRecently had Thomson install furnace and heat pump. They sent me a reminder a day before expected date of install. Sent me another reminder on the day of install to say they were on their way. Tidy and prompt install. Patiently answered my questions re operating the new thermostat. Cleaned up after the work was done. Only had the products operating for a few days but so far, all is working well. Pleasantly surprised that the heat pump is quite quiet when operating.
GooglePositive: Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, Value I met with a Thomson Industries rep back in November 2020 about converting my rental house's heating to a Combi Tankless system, at the time Fortis BC was offering a double rebate program so the time seemed right. He answered all of my questions and gave a very realistic price for the scope of the work. They even had a $500 GST rebate if I agreed before the end of the year to have the work done. Unfortunately I didn't call him back until mid January. The work was done over a 2 day period ,the workmanship and the Rinnai Combi are a thing of beauty. No more noisy boiler with a continuously burning pilot light. Plus the space has opened up in the boiler room ,so having any maintenance work done is a piece of cake. I'm looking forward to my first post Rinnai Tankless gas consumption bill!
