I am very pleased with Thomson Heating services. They have installed a new furnace and heat pump in the past 2 years in my home. The contractors were excellent and the support from Thomson staff has been very good. All my questions answered. I recommend Thomson Industries LTD. We had a heat pump installed recently.. just in time for the heat wave .. and it was the best decision we’ve made! We chose Thomson Industries as we had used them for our furnace and tankless water heater needs a year or so ago and were happy with their work. The whole process was seamless… from Rob’s initial contact to the installation. The installers (2 brothers) were absolutely wonderful to deal with even accommodating us leaving the premises for a hospital appointment we could not avoid for a few hours! The only snag I had was with their rebate claims dept. There was a back and forth …have claimed/ not claimed emails that was confusing. We were needing some handholding which was apparently missed. Otherwise this company is a delight to work with and I would recommend their product and services in a heartbeat ?? *** ******** ***** *********

Although there were some issues with the original order, the installers quickly recognized the issue and proceeded with as much work as they could with the parts they had. The process took 2 working days, which was the original plan, and they brought the correct materials the second day. The work was done quickly, and expertly with minimal disruption to our regular activities. The installers were neat and always advised us what they were doing and how long it would take. We were very happy with the work that was performed and the quick response from their office to correct the error in the original order. The office also looked after the application for provincial rebates and led us through the process for applying for the Federal rebates associated with the work performed. I would definitely recommend Thompson for any HVAC requirements.

Found the cause our furnace wasn't working. Previous business who came over misled us by saying it would cost over $500 for a control panel. The error code was a piece that had stopped functioning and that was the only issue and replaced under warranty with no cost

Helped us navigate the government rebates, apply for financing to use while we wait on rebates. The installation was very smooth and the employees very professional. They helped me install the app on my phone and showed me how to work it even though they'd had a long day and finished up late. Would definitely recommend Thomson.

On this last service of 3 yr old furnace, & air conditioning plus 2 fireplaces everything was fine but the tech forgot to turn the gas back on at the furnace which caused it to fail after 3 attempts to restart it locked us out. We realized just before 6 pm that it was getting cold in the house. After calling after hours a tech got back to us. He led my husband over the phone on restarting the furnace boot up. This is when we found the gas had not been turned back on. Such a simple thing and should not be forgotten by the tech. They were hard working, polite, and left everything clean and tidy..Front office staff easy to deal with. I will have to wait til summer to know how well the A/C works. My only complaint is that I was not offered a choice of thermostat. The one installed is a very basic programmable thermostat. I didn’t like the ‘recovery’ mode so had to figure out how to disable it. Other than that, all is good so far.. Service: Install AC
