We didn't know anything about an inspection so we asked our amazing realtor for assistance and she recommended this company. We trust our realtor and she highly recommend this one and I see why. From the very first point of contact I was pointed to the website. Someone walked me through the process. He made every part of that experience smooth. A couple days before the inspector Walter B called to confirm. Once again I was met with a Calming voice assuring me he would do everything he was hired to do. He even kindly resent the agreements, advise me to read everything and share it with the lawyer. Today, the day of the inspection Walter arrived before us and started taking pictures. When we arrived he greeted us with a smile even though we arrived a couple minutes late. Walter talked us through every step of the inspection. He even made suggestions outside of the inspection. Walter is a professional and you can tell he loves what he does much like our realtor. Walter took the time to explain when we didn't understand. He never sounded frustrated with repeat answers. He just found a different way help us understand. Walter inspected every part of the home he had access to. I would say he is an expert. Spending time with Walter today made us feel like we are almost experts with regard to this house :-). The tips alone are worth so much. I recommend this company. Every person I came in contact with are consistently professional and kind. I appreciate excellent customer service and Safeway Home Inspection is a wonderful example. I'm truly satisfied and grateful for companies like this one that still care about the consumer and are experts of their profession.

Steve did a wonderful job, he was very professional and thorough in his inspection. He took his time in checking everything from roof to foundation. He did a full sweep of the yard to detect any possibility of an oil tank. He went through all the systems from HVAC, electrical, plumbing and sewer lines. He managed to access a water line that was extremely difficult to access and put a camera scope down there to give us a full picture of what was going on. In addition, he did a Radon test as well as testing out all the appliances. All in all he did great work - he did a proper inspection going above and beyond to check every inch of the house noticing any issues we may not have. We feel confident that he was the best person to have looking out for us with the purchase of our first home!

The entire process was seamless with Safeway, from start to finish. The appointment process was extremely easy to setup and they were able to accommodate our work schedule. Walt was our inspector and he was amazing - extremely thorough, went over everything explaining the issue and recommended remedy. We went with the full inspection package - home, sewer line scope, radon test (what a great deal btw). We are not well versed and had a lot of questions. Walt was so patient and explained even the basics to us, giving tips for regular home maintenance. He followed up when the radon test results were available and offered his expertise on them several days after our inspection. My inspector Steven was incredible! His inspection was thoughtful and extremely detailed. I bought a home that is over 100 years old, and he was able to provide detailed information on the history of the original parts of the home as well as where work was done and to what level of quality.
