I ordered an AMC 4.2l motor and couldn't be happier. Uncrate, install, and drive. I shipped to a local UPS freight depot. Pickup and core return process was easy and pain free. It's made my 35 year old Jeep a dependable daily driver again.

Smooth transaction and return of core. I am in California and both shipping and receiving went great. So far I have put 1000 miles on new engine and I dyno the engine and mild upgrades at 405 hp!! At 3500 rpm.. the engine and car runs like a champ now!!! My mechanic is a stock car racer and builds engines and he was impressed on the build quality.. I highly recommend!!

Promar precision engines did a great job remanufacturing my 3.8L engine in my Jeep Wrangler. I was local so they picked it up, completed the work in about a week and a half, and return the engine to me ready to install. The guys at Promar Were very professional to work with, and couldn’t be more accommodating. I would definitely recommend Promar precision engines.

There quality exceeded my expectations. Very easy to talk to there communication is extremely good. Very fast shipping. And so far the quality is good. I have put about 10 thousand miles on the7.3 idi. I bought from them and it runs perfect. I will be doing business with them if the future.

It was my first.... my first diesel engine replacement. Was doing my research and found many positive reviews on Promar and their engines. So I took the leap and ordered a long block rebuild. Right now its in the truck or Moose as I like to call her, and she is purring like a kitten, but pulling like the moose she is. What a beast! I had some trouble with shipping (sat on dock for a week until I called Promar and they hunted it down). But all in all my experience with Promar was excellent. Everyone I spoke with was helpful. Thanks again Promar, and thanks for bringing Moose back to life....

What a great engine! I bought one of Promar's upgraded Lightning engines and I've had no problems at all. I talked to the owner a couple of times about my wants and needs and he was always courteous and helpful. After those talks, I decided to buy an engine. It came right to my house. The packaging was amazing and once I got it in the truck, she started right up. No problems or leaks. I had more questions after the install and they helped me even more. If you need an engine, definitely give Promar a look!

Promar gave me a great experience ordering !promar precision did a fantastic job on my AMC 360 engine for my Jeep grand Wagoneer.. they gave me a new oil pump where other companies offered a rebuild kit.. always answered the phone for my questions and thoughts.. free shipping especially on the return core. Some other companies want you to pay for the core that THEY want.. thank you Kevin and your whole team my motor runs perfect with oil pressure at 60 . So far, I am extremely satisfied with the whole experience! I took the car on a thousand mile trip after the break in period and could not be happier! The engine I was looking for was available able to be shipped within a reasonable time to an exceptional shop, #AnthemAutomotive that did the install. The car I rebuilt is not your every day average ride and now I own one of the few '97 Cadillac Seville's left on the road because of #Promar! I can only hope and pray the engine and warranty is as great they tell me and lasts me another generation! Thanks!

Customer service and support excellent. Kevin worked with me to provide exactly everything I was looking for- specific block numbers, fasteners etc beyond the basic build. Kevin continues to check in with me to be sure everything is going well. My pair of long blocks were well packed & protected and made the long trip to Oahu with no issues or damage. All components are sound and well assembled and while I have not yet completed assembly and fired up the engines I have no reason for any concern.

I was in search of a rebuilt engine for 2004 Ford F150, and I was concerned about buying a rebuilt engine from a company that I didn't know. I read their reviews and they looked good, so I went with Promar Engines. And that is why I decided to post a good review for them, because the other ones I read gave me confidence that I made a good choice. And so far everything has gone very well. The new engine seems to be running great. I liked that I did not have to pay a core fee, and the process to have new engine shipped and old engine picked up was pretty smooth. I appreciated the communication from the company, they were available to answer questions and quick to respond. Overall, very happy with the engine, the company, and the process. Would highly recommend to someone looking for an engine.

Long block was at my local UPS Freight 24 hours after ordering. Came nicely packaged, with complete set of gaskets and break-in instructions, and labels with instructions for returning the core. Now have about 5,000 miles on the new engine, and my old Suburban runs like a new vehicle again. So pleased!

I needed Promar to source the core for a 55 - 62 235 chevy, rebuild it and send it to me. It came in January and it took me until June to find all of the external parts I needed before I could install and get it started. All I can say is that it runs terrific and Mark and the other folks at Promar were terrific throughout the whole process.

got a jeep 3.8 remain engine from them. got a good deal on it. all worked good had no issue with anything. but had to reseal the timing cover after 1,500 miles. the gasket must of never sealed well. but wasn't any issue to me to fix. just didn't want to have to do to new engine that fast.

I purchased a custom build engine from Promar for my truck, knowing I'd be towing in the near future and was wanting a reliable engine package. I worked closely with Kevin C on getting just what items I needed for the build. Kevin was able to take a package deal that Promar offers and modify the bill of materials to fit my needs. I was always kept in the loop, and Kevin quickly responded to my inquiries with professionalism and candor. I never once felt like I was talking to a "used car salesman" nor did I ever feel that Promar was attempting to add unnecessary costs to my build. The shipping and handling was as smooth as it could have been. The package came very securely crated and with all the RMA paperwork included. I simply put my core back into the crating and affixed their pre-printed label and called UPS Freight to pick it up. For all intents and purposes, Promar could have been a shop across town when considering how easy the shipping and handling was. Finally, the engine runs so smoothly that I hardly know when it's running. I couldn't be happier and I know this engine is going to be low maintenance because of how smoothly it is running. I highly recommend Promar to anyone considering a purchase with them. My custom engine was delivered on time with a very competitive price.
