We purchased a remanufactured 2020 L83 5.3 AFM delete. Communication with customer service was superb. The instructions were clear enough, we documented everything they required replacing and then went beyond that just due to the mileage on the vehicle. Used HP Tuners to delete the AFM in the ECM. Just performed the required 500 mile oil change and its running great. Pictures show: 1) mated to the new 6L80e, 2) installed with the new water pump, vacuum pump, belts, tensioner, thermostat assy, new engine/transmission wiring harness, oil lines & trans lines. 3) close to done with new air filter.

This is the 3rd rebuilt engine (for three different Jeeps) we have purchased from them in the past 9 years. They have excellent quality and great customer service. We had two shipped to our home in Arizona, and the last one was shipped to a shop for us. The experience was smooth, and they communicated quickly. Our mechanic was impressed with their quality as well. While I hope not to need another engine anytime soon, I would buy from them again!

These guys are the ultimate professionals. They were on time with the delivery of my remanufactured 7.3 IDI. The engine has been on for two months now and it runs great, has awesome e oil pressure and power and does not use any oil. As an FYI. The engine is in an 18,000 pound roll back.

The motor seems to run great. Interaction with sales was ok but the engine was delivered with gaskets and some sheet metal I was not expecting so I had to return some of the parts I had purchased. My only call to tech support was quickly answered. Over all a great experience. just reached 1000 miles!

I received my 4.6 Northstar Engine in July of 2023. Unfortunately the installation into my 96 Eldorado was delayed due to illness. When I fully recovered the installation went well but I had to repair some electrical wiring gremlins that took some time to diagnose and repair. I must say I was very happy to see the quality of the work on the Promar rebuilt Northstar Engine and the care taken to insure it arrived in beautiful condition . It is now running and purring quietly under the hood of my Eldorado. Thanks again for your patience and excellent product. A special tip of the hat to the fine technicians who rebuilt this engine!

5.4 3v. Ordered this engine for my 04 F150 Custom Truck. Had it Comp Cammed & Tuned straight out the box! So far so good. Engine thumps like none other!! Just completed my 500 mile oil change. No issues at this point. Breaking her in slowly. Engine is very responsive and performing well. Promar is a great company to do business with. They really worked with me on my core so that I didn't lose my warranty. Both Robin and Kevin assisted in the process. Great customer service! Communication is key. Promar is a name you can trust!!!

I replaced the engine in my 1999 Ford F 150 lightning. The price was very good. My engine installer ran into a few problems but he worked it out with Promar. Car runs like new. Less than 1000 miles now so will get an oil change soon. Just a word of caution when installing a shortblock, you may be reusing your older parts on the installation and these may fail. Happened to me with the starter motor, but that was my own fault. Recommend you to use their services whole heartedly.

My 2007 Daytona Charger had a blown engine since June 2021, so l had LONG time to research what avenue that I wanted to take. Oct 2022 I decided to order from Promar and haven’t regretted my decision at all. Within a month, they asked for a review. I chose to hold off until I got a couple thousand miles on her. Now l feel that l can give an honest review. After “break-in”, I’ve driven her like l stole her! Absolutely a very sound engine with no problems and EXTREMELY strong. They answered all of my questions up front and were very helpful. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend or do business with them again.

I had an excellent experience working with Promar Engines. They were very helpful and went thru the entire process they use when rebuilding the engine for my 2013 5.0 F150. I opted to get all new valves because 11-13 model years had valve material issues and that was very reasonably priced. They used all new timing components but I wish I had specified they use oem Ford parts for that. My mistake, but so far no issues, but only time will tell if I have a phaser failure later on. I have 2000 miles on the new engine now and it is much stronger than the old worn out engine. My only complaint is it get 1 mpg less than the original. When I ordered the engine they said it would ship in 3-4 weeks. They totally exceeded that and had it out the door in exactly 2 weeks. For the installation I took it to my local Lincoln dealer as they only had 1 week lead time on appointments. I purchased all new sensors and water pump and associated components along with new plugs and coil packs, and new vct solenoids and various other parts to complete the engine build as Promar only supplies a long block. The dealer swapped out the engine by removing the entire cab of the truck. Then shipped out the core so that my warranty would be activated. You only have 30 days to return the core or your warranty will be void. That is a reasonable amount of time. Overall I'm very pleased with the experience.

Looked super sweet visually clean and brand new like advertised. We have got it in our vehicle we have not yet ran the engine but I have no doubt it will be very Stout. Had a great experience from the first time I called to the arrival of my long block. I ordered a Chevy 6L. LS2 motor for my 2005 SSR. I was told it would take about 4 weeks and it arrived on time with all the paperwork. I would definitely order again if needed for my next project.

It’s now been 3,000 miles on my new motor. I got 6.2/L99 from promar and I’m am truly happy. Followed the brake in period procedure before getting on it any. Went in to a G8 GT and had it tuned right and I am so Impressed, been running so heathy. Thanks again everyone at promar

I had the Promar team rebuild a 289 engine for our 65 Ford Fairlane. I have no clue on this stuff. My body shop took the engine out and I brought it down to Promar . The owner actually took me on a mini tour of the shop and what they do. Very, very interesting. Seemed like chaos to me--but they know exactly what they are doing. Kevin and team were super nice and answered all my questions. I was impressed as can be. They tell you what the cost will be on their website-- so very little to worry about.

Promar engines did a fantastic job on my build!!! I ordered a Mustang 4.6 Liter with upgraded cams!!!
