The install was smooth and guys were super friendly. Turned the AC on this year and no cooling. Called these guys in the morning and a tech was on site in 4 hours. HomeStarsGilbert scheduled our spring maintenance and actually was able to send Harry before our appointment date. We had concerns about the A/C coil. Harry arrived before our appointment time and performed the necessary checks and tests and told us everything was okay. He explained what might have caused the problem last summer and told us how to adjust the a/c settings to prevent this from becoming an issue again. The good news was that we didnt need to replace the coil. Since we have a service membership, we didnt even have to pay for the service call. It is very difficult to find companies you can trust that have integrity, friendly staff and professionalism as their foundation. We feel we are so fortunate to have found High Efficiency Cooling & Heating! We absolutely love this company and highly recommend them. We have never trusted a company more!
GoogleRecently used this company for annual furnace maintenance. Service was punctual and technician was knowledgeable and honest. Also had them install new furnace and hot water tank ~2 years ago. They specialize in carrier units and easily offered the best price based on 3 other quotes I had at the time. They are honest in that they sized my unit accurately for my home and they DO NOT oversell (trying to sell more efficient units). Install went well and they follow codes and regulations to the letter because my install was difficult given a tight space in a typical toronto basement. Would definitely use again in near future for AC replacement. update: just had them over for a furnace repair. He investigated the problem and explained the procedure that he will do based on my issue. The problem has not been solved yet but appreciated his thorough understanding of the problem and the step by step troubleshooting he did. The final issue was determined to be inside our house after some further troubleshooting. Next phase is part replacement. Crossing fingers that it will not be a costly repair because my AC is under warranty. FURNACE UNIT 2021.11/03 HVAC Technician, Jia Wei Lu, was deployed 11/3 by High Efficiency C&H and came to troubleshoot my non-functioning furnace that I reported the day before. He diagnosed the problem quick and was able to make the furnace run using a temporary part. Problem solved under an hour. He even arranged for their office c/o Natalie to call me back the same day to assure me that they will provide the brand new part that is on order. I am promised an update after this weekend (Nov 6/7) as I was told that the part has not arrived. Very nice service. AIR-CONDITIONING UNIT 2022.05/24 Preventive Maintenance performed. Technician was the same well-mannered person who did the troubleshooting some time back. As usual, his knowledge about the AC unit is very good. Checked everything meticulously. Explained a few tips that I could have in order to prolong the good function of AC. His record showed that our AC coil needs replacement in the beginning but eventually learned from his office that it has been replaced. He was fast in verifying this and apologized about that wrong information given. This team is highly recommended for doing professional care and maintenance in my HVAC. GoogleI have the pleasure of having my Carrier air- conditioning system being checked today May 18 (Ha...getting ready for heat wave coming in two month's time). The technician came in on time. He checked several things including but not limit to refrigerant levels, debris left in water pipe outlet etc. I am pleased with details because he had a check list to follow. By the way, at the end he reminded me that if the fan is bit noisy or the time for the in-door temperature to drop by 1 C takes a bit longer say an hour then it is time to call office for further follow-up. HomeStarsJason, a senior service technician with High Efficiency Cooling & Heating, performed an annual maintenance check on our A/C. Even though Covid-19 isnt much of an issue anymore, Jason was careful to keep his distance and wear a mask. He made some adjustments to our A/C to make sure it works perfectly and told us exactly what he did. Jason is always very congenial, professional and quick.
