Staff was polite and professional, food was awesome and the room was comfortable! Snacks and water left in the room were very much appreciated by our little ones.

Location and the free breakfast were the reasons we stayed. We were given a room that was occupied, a first. We did not use the room service. We cannot operated the air condition effectively because there's no instructions in the room.

I didn’t get a chance to utilize the pool or outdoor spa because of the cold rainy weather here in North County. But it’s very inviting maybe next time. I bounce between the Bay Area and North County right now building my business in mediation. I’ve been in North County more so in the last few months, the Comfort Inn is my go to place. I was very unhappy with Springhill also and Escondido. The staff works hard here and it shows.

Great place to stay with family. The service for check in was good. The front had coffee and water to grab and go for guest at all times. The room was clean and have water and snacks. There was a balcony with chairs and small table. My son loved the coloring pages and colored pencils at breakfast. The breakfast was amazing with hot& cold food items. The waffles station had fruit and whipped cream. The location was perfect! It was close enough to quick service food and dine in places for lunch and dinner options. Also Target and multiple stores are across the street if an item was left at home. Our trip was to the San Diego Zoo Safari and it was only 15min drive. Would recommend to families and anyone who needs a nice rest and delicious breakfast in the morning.

Our stay at this Hotel was excellent! Customer service was amazing. We checked in easily and checked out fast as well. The room was clean and we even had quite a few snacks waiting for us in our room along with water, tea and coffee. The location was also really great because surrounding us was In N' Out, Cane's, CVS, Target, 7-Eleven and sp many other stores all around us. Also, a McDonald's not far away. The room also came with bottles of shampoo, conditioner, body cream. We are most definitely coming back to this hotel if we are around San Diego or any other place.

The bed was very comfortable, the hot breakfast offered everything you might want and was delicious. The hotel was very clean and nice. It was located close to several different restaurants, with easy access to the highway and sites to see.

This is a wonderful hotel with friendly staff, comfortable beds, and centrally located to several different places to eat within walking distance. The hot breakfast was delicious and had a good variety of options. Would definitely come back and stay here the next time I come back to the San Diego/Escondido area.

I stayed at Marriott in Escondido called Springhill. That was not a good experience. It was full of children running in the lobby and screaming, the place was like a romper room. I am extremely quiet and I like quiet. I’m re-launching my book and going to move towards getting the rest of my manuscripts published. I have editing and writing to complete. The comfort Inn provided a nice desk, good room lighting. The balcony was awesome. The place is quiet. The pool was wonderful. I was in the pool with one other adult. No screaming children. The staff are friendly. Housekeeping was on target. Thank you for my enjoyable stay.

I work in the San Diego area from time to time I find this location to be perfect right off the freeway and plenty of food restaurants nearby. The rooms at this hotel are clean and they always leave snacks in the room with bottled water for all guests which is unheard of and most hotels. The staff is awesome as well I would recommend this place if you're heading to San Diego or in the area

We LOVED staying here! I called directly to book a room. I asked if we could check in early & they said no problem. Check in was really easy & the person who checked us in was very friendly. We were delighted to find complementary water & snacks in our room. The room was very clean & comfortable. The breakfast was wonderful! The fresh fruit surprised me — watermelon, pineapple, honey dew melon, so delicious! We were fortunate enough to get a late check out as well. The location is great! It’s right off the freeway & surrounded by so many restaurants & shopping possibilities!! We will definitely be back!

Staff is always great.They have one of the best breakfasts.Rooms are always clean with plenty of lighting.And cable TV options.They honor early check in and late check out.Honor room requested.Often I stay there with my crew from 2-5 days so this is important.Closr to places to eat.

Best Comfort Inn we have stayed in. Traveled with band. Band loved the breakfast and especially having fresh cut fruit! Plenty of towels and large sink. Mattress was very good! Thank you!

We had a great experience staying here for 2 nights. Complimentary waters and snacks. Good service! Rooms are maybe a little run down (4 stars for that). We didn’t utilize any of the other amenities during our quick stay so that’s all I really have to say. This hotel is in a really nice place and close to many many stores, places to eat, gas stations etc. Very close to the I-15 entrances as well. We’ll probably stay here again when we come back into town.

Wonderful experience at this hotel! The rooms are super clean and well-decorated. The hallways don’t smell like cigarettes and alcohol, as many hotels in this category often do. I loved the location because everything you need is within a short walking distance—restaurants, grocery stores, a gym, clothing stores, etc. Highly recommended!

We stayed 2/16/25, then added 5 more nights. Best Comfort Inn we have stayed. Perfectly firm king bed w/o feeling foundation split. Excellent water pressure (for CA). Selection of snacks in room. Entire room in excellent material condition. Breakfast is best of ANY Comfort Inn we have visited (over a dz). 6 flavors of ‘make your own’ waffles. 3 chafing pans with cheese omelettes & more. And a ready-to-eat fresh 🍉 🍇 🍈 🍍 bowl tower.

My family and I were thoroughly impressed with our one-night stay. The check-in process was quick and effortless, thanks to the friendly and professional front desk staff. Our room was cozy, with comfortable beds and pillows, and the bathroom was immaculately clean with fresh, white towels. The breakfast buffet, which started at 5:30 am, offered a diverse selection of options. We would definitely return.

I stayed for three nights in a spacious and comfortable room. I was traveling solo but appreciated the balcony and the king sized bed, which came with a choice of soft or firm pillows (I'm one of those who hugs a soft pillow while using a firm pillow for my head). My absolute favorite part was the complimentary breakfast. There was a good variety of choices, from cereals to fruits to waffles to bagels to pastries to scrambled eggs, potatoes, and my personal favorite, biscuits and gravy. So what kept me from a five-star review? The hotel is very clean, but the stairway is a bit worn, along with the upholstery on the chairs in the breakfast room. But otherwise, I would stay here again if I found myself in Escondido. By the way, I was visiting relatives for a wedding, so I had more than enough food. But this hotel is right next to an In-N-Out, a Raising Cain's and a Chipotle.

My husband and kids were thrilled with the breakfast provided, and the hotel was very comfortable for our trip for a soccer tournament. This was a pleasant place to come back to at the end of the day and really made the trip much easier for everyone.

We were there for the SoCal youth soccer state cup tournament so there were tons of kids there. The experience was great. The kids got to play. There were complimentary snacks and water in the room. The included breakfast had everything from fruit and yogurt, cereal, biscuits and gravy, omelets, sausage and bacon, potatoes, juices, bagels, coffee and waffles!!! Just what little champions need to fuel up before a day full of soccer games.
