Rooms were decent, clean (carpet not so much ;-( oh well), quiet, bedding was clean, pillows were perfect (you had a choice of soft or firmer) when we checked into the room, it was well stocked, coffee, tea, even bottled water & snacks, etc. There was a good microwave and I liked that the refrigerator had separate compartments (seems like with combined single units refers that you can never regulate one from the other and things freeze that shouldn't) The 'Staff' was excellent, from reception, breakfast room (breakfast had many choices, hot and cold cereals, fresh fruit, waffles, nice variety of bakery goods, yogurts, bacon, sausage, biscuits and gravy. The omelet would be better if they did not use processed cheese and had fresh salsa available ;-( and there were no hashbrowns or potatoes (but that's not the end of the world, lol) The maintenance was receptive and prompt (even though we didn't need it, they did helped us with questions on how to operate AC/heater) and right up to our check out. Didn't get a chance to use the pool or exercise room, but it was clean and had a variety of good equipment. We would stay again and we will look for a Comfort Inn again under the ChoiceHotels Brand! Thanks again for a great stay!

Excellent stay! Hotel has been upgraded. All employees were friendly and said hello! Breakfast was good and there were a lot of extras: lemon water, coffee, snacks, luggage carts, etc. Beds were comfortable. We will definitely stay again!!

Stayed here for 4 nights with family visiting San Diego and Escondido. The motel is old but well maintained and the staff are very friendly. Location is great with access to freeways and downtown Escondido. One bonus is the fact that its right next door to an In and Out burger. The breakfast is good. Overall, good value for the money

Close to Target and different restaurants. Very clean and comfortable beds with full pillows. Rooms have room to walk around if you have kids. Free breakfast was really great with different options. All of the staff we met were friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay here again. You can drive on the street to the Safari Park.

Booked this room to attend a friend's wedding in town for the weekend, unfortunately the wedding was cancelled close to the last minute and I had to cancel the room. I had sworn that I had previously cancelled the room on time to avoid the late fee, but that was not the case as I missed it by a few hours. I sent a message to the hotel to cancel the reservation and see if they could work with me to waive the cancellation fee, they responded rather quickly that they would work with me which was very much appreciated; I am always on top of cancelling reservations as early as I can when plans change and this one time I wasn't so I truly appreciate them helping me out. I will definitely stay here whenever my travels take me down to Escondido and I need a place to sleep.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Comfort Inn Escondido and i must say, i was thoroughly impressed with my room, from the moment i walked in i could tell that the room had been meticulously cleaned and prepared for my stay. The first thing that caught my attention was the comfortable and inviting bed, the sheets were crisp and clean, and the pillows were fluffy and plentiful, i had no trouble falling asleep and waking up feeling well rested. The room itself was spacious and well designed, i appreciated the thoughtful details, such as the desk and chair for me to work at and the ample storage space for my belongings, the decor was modern and tasteful making me feel right at home. The bathroom was also impressive, with a large shower and plenty of counter space, the towels were soft and absorbent and there were plenty of toiletries provided for my convenience, one of my favorite things about the room was the mini fridge and microwave, it was so convenient to have these amenities in the room allowing me to store and heat up snacks and drinks during my stay. The overall cleanliness of the room was top notch, i could tell that the housekeeping staff takes great pride in their work as every corner of the room was spotless. The staff at the Comfort Inn Escondido were also friendly and welcoming, they were quick to answer any questions i had and made sure that i had everything i needed for a comfortable stay. The location of the hotel was also ideal, with easy access to nearby restaurants and attractions i was able to explore the area and then come back to my cozy and comfortable room. Overall, my experience at the Comfort Inn Escondido was fantastic, the room exceeded my expectations and provided a comfortable and relaxing stay, i highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay, i will definitely be returning on my next trip.

Quiet halls!!! Great breakfast and they keep it stocked right up till the last few minutes at least. I am not a 6am breakfast person but 10am yes! Hot tub was HOT. Maybe a little too hot. I let them know. Comfy bed. Lots of food places you can walk to in 2 minutes. Walls are a little thin without the tv on as noise cancelling. Surprised how inconsiderate people can be in motels with their loud voices. I actually joined in real time in the conversation in the room next to me. That gave them the hint! Front desk staff were more than accommodating and cheerful helping me fix my reservation screw ups. Would go back in a heart beat.
