When we told him about the thermostat not working properly since the power outage we experienced the week before, he reprogrammed that too. His technical knowledge and expertise was very much appreciated! Thanks to Chinook for hiring such a qualified technician! We highly recommend using Chinook for heating and air services! Chinook had text updates that they were on their way and when they arrived. Only reason I didn't select "Good Value" for my rating options is because this is my first time ever doing this kind of maintenance call as a new home owner, so I don't have any comparisons at all. It appears like a good value to me, though! All interactions with the technician or secretaries we're pleasant. Our particular unit was quite dirty (so said our home inspector and the HVAC tech) and quite a bit was pulled out of it. Some was pulled out onto the floor, but the HVAC tech cleaned up afterwards. With other maintenance-related stuff I have had folks not clean up after themselves, so I was very happy the Chinook tech did. Our AC unit needed a new capacitor, and he was able to repair it immediately. I am glad he caught it because we are headed into the warmer months, and if our AC didn't start because of the capacitor issues he noticed, that could have been miserable!
