Overall great spot. I've only been here once but the staff was friendly and I appreciate that they have snacks and drinks available. My only complaint is that I could definitely smell weed in certain areas of the building and you really have to know how to use all the equipment, because there isnt much guidance.

Clean, and high quality equipment
Didn’t get any photos but when I first found out about band barracks was back in 2023, used to go with friends to get more practice on CDJS. Yesterday I made my way back for the first time for a recording studio. The check in process is so easy and effortless. They email you after booking all the codes necessary for you to access the building and rooms. I personally love Adam audio studio so I choose the 108 recording studio. The vibe was amazing and the staff were absolutely amazing and friendly. Can’t wait to be back!!

Great studio for DJs who want to learn to use cdjs.
Monday was my first time at Band Barracks and I booked a studio for 4hrs to learn how to play on CDJs for the first time. Curran was on site and helped me a few times when I had questions, and did so with so much kindness. This will definitely be my regular spot to practice now! 10/10 experience.

I produced four video podcast episodes for PWN-USA at Band Barracks Studios over the course of two days. In every instance, the space and our engineer Aleksander were amazing. Aleksander even gave us a suggestion for one of our outros, which was perfect (and immediately adopted). Some sound engineers dont care about your project; that wasnt the case with Aleksander. He asked questions about our goal, target audience, and gave us a few ideas to help things really pop. On our first day of recording, traffic caused lateness for people on both sides. Despite this, Band Barracks was amazingly accommodating and extended our time so that we could complete our work without rushing or anxiety. If we record in Houston again, well definitely work with Band Barracks Studios and suggest that everyone else does too.

Really great place. I come here to practice my sets every so often. My only gripe is that they threaten to charge your card if youre still in the rooms like 3 or 5 minutes after your session is over. Thats even if no one is scheduled after youre done. I remember getting an e-mail about that and thought it was a bit controlling. Just know that theyre very strict about time and occupancy. Other than that, the service is solid. Really great equipment and quite an awesome place where musicians of all levels and backgrounds can thrive.

The signing up process was very easy. The rates are really good. I know a big issue for some is security and they have that setup very well with private gate and cameras setup. Ive used the recording studio rooms and the setup is really nice with everything labeled ( youll get information prior to your booking to download all needed drivers and software so you can be efficient and start recording). Vocal booth is a legit vocal booth do getting nice sry vocals is not a problem. Definitely book a session there for your artists or for yourself. Highly recommended it. There dj rooms are great as well. If you want to learn how to use the top of the line pioneer setup before your gig they have rooms that have the cdj 3000 and nxs2 . Great rates and the vibe is awesome

I had a wonderful experience at Band Barracks. This was my first time in the studio, and Judson made the process seamless. He calmed my nerves with his patience and made me feel completely comfortable. His knowledge and expertise really stood out, and he explained everything in a way that was easy to understand, even without prior experience. I will definitely be scheduling more sessions with him.

One word Awesome. I will be sending more artists your way. Had such a good time and was so productive bought an extra hour before we left. If you're looking for privacy and comfort while you record, this is a good place to go. My only complaint is that you can't unplug the headphones to plug into your device while in the studio booth. Will still be returning we loved the lighting on the wall with Notorious Big!
First timer. Experience was Lo key amazing. My girl Kat was super helpful😮💨 even threw an assist with troubleshooting the DAW I was using. (Turned out to be hardware related.. 😭) I came there to record some vocals and mix some music cause they have access to a full set up for you to utilize and I was honestly surprised. Once everything was set up it was a nice night. Sang my ass off. Will be coming back for sure 🤭
Great spot for easy booking rehearsals. They've even got nice half stack high gain guitar amps in our room which is rare to see. Very high quality, highly recommended

Super easy to book a room. No problems. Room was clean and ready to go. Nice padded walls helped a lot with the sound. Provided amps did a great job, drumset needed a little TLC, overall very please will book again.
i enjoyed the rehearsal but i kinda struggled with the mixer but it was pretty good
