GoogleGoogleDSD had the Best Staff! Starting with the scheduling department. They are friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and work with you to set up appointments that are convenient! Their Technical Department is the Best! They know what they are doing and feed ont ever try to sell you something you Dont need. They treat you with respect along with your property is treated like their own. whenever I have had an issue or a problem with my garage door, they came and fixed it. I’m trying to add on additional charges. They always give you different options and will tell you exactly how much it is before they start any work! Their prices are reasonable, and I have used them several times over the last few years and during this last visit it was time to replace the garage door motor and they gave me the option of replacing all the parts or just the exact part I needed. Since I had not replaced any parts previously, I opted for the full package and had all the parts replaced, but it was at my choice, not theirs. They had all the parts on the truck, therefore eliminating a second appointment because they didn’t have an item which I find extremely convenient! The technician installed all the parts took away all boxes and cleaned up any mess from the packing and parts, it was very helpful and explaining exactly what he was doing, and I would highly recommend this company to anyone needing any kind of garage door work or replacement parts if they had 10 stars, I would give them 10 stars. In this day and age often times company are out to make the most money and not considering the customer. This company is the great exception. I find this refreshing to find a staff that looks out for the customer and is willing to work with you and explain every detail so that you know all your options anyone needing any kind of garage door work or replacement parts? I would highly recommend them!!

GoogleYour repair technician John H came to explain to me -- for the second time, and with great courtesy and patience -- how to reposition the sensors at floor level on both sides of my garage door. He explained what was happening and why, and I learned that the arms holding the sensors are A LOT stronger than I thought, allowing me to readjust them when necessary when the door won't raise or lower properly. He also gave me me sound, sensible advice about service warranties, and I've already saved money with one. My opinion is that this is a fine company that truly values its customers with fast responses, wonderful old-fashioned courtesy from anyone you talk to, and knowledgeable solutions for whatever you may need. Thank you!

GoogleI called DGD due to having trouble with remote openers. Within 24 hrs., I had a technician come and trace the problem. Our garage door was 24 yrs. Old and the motor had simply stopped working using the remotes. It was recommended to have a larger motor due to the door being Hurricane braced. Two hours later, new opener, new remotes and sensors, rollers and overall conditioning, and door was working well and so quiet. Thanks to DGD our new equipment is working great.

GoogleChanged dates twice, but installation went smoothly and the installer was a very pleasant guy. Why only 4 stars? I specifically asked the installer if the unit was Homelink compatible. He assured me it was but after he left I was unable to pair my car's Homelink remote with the opener. I called and after a week's wait another installer came out. He couldn't program the car either until he climbed up to the opener and used the controller in the unit to change something aand then pair the car. He was surprised that the initial installer hadn't done that, but I had to pay $85.00 for the service call, on top of the over $800.00 I paid to install a $300.00 opener. Nice profit margin there. Overall very satisfied with the opener, somewhat less satisfied with the company.

GoogleWe recently had DGD Garage Doors install a new garage door motor and spring for us. They gave us a window of time that their representative would arrive. Even though he came well after the window, the company kept us updated. They were behind due to the hurricanes and some of the jobs for that day took longer than expected. It was not an issue for us. After they quoted us a price, we told them we wanted them to install it. He did it that night! Our door is so quiet! We can even operate it from our phones. I would recommend this company for your garage door needs. They are very professional and personable.

Two and half years ago, DGD installed a new garage door opener and supporting spring system. As a previous customer, they worked with me on the door sensor replacement cost and included a tune-up at a very reasonable price. The technician was very knowledgeable and professional.
