I have been seeing Dr Irfan for over a year now after my previous pain management doctor retired. Dr Irfan has continued his education keeping him up to date on the latest developments in non invasive procedures as well as using opioids as the last option. He also stays current with the REMS federal compliance program that establishes a relationship between the patient, pharmacy, physician and the REMS team. As a patient I have found this program to be extremely efficient as long as all the parties stay current with the REMS requirements. Patients need to understand that the program has been put in place for the protection of all involved. It prevents patients from seeing multiple doctors for narcotics or going to various emergency departments seeking early refills or doctor shopping. Dr. Irfan and the staff go over the office policies and as long as you comply with the policies your not going to have a problem. This process also helps the patient find comfort that the doctor they're seeing is in good standing with the medical board, is a pain medicine specialist or has met the requirements for the REMS program. I find Dr Irfan listens to my current pain condition and makes the best decision while managing my pain and changes the medication/treatment(s) as needed. I have nothing but awesome things to say about his clinic staff while he is seeing patients in the Grapevine Office. He sees patients at different offices throughout the metroplex during the week. The Corp Office is a whole different issue. I am in hopes that the issues with the Corp staff get better.

My interactions have always been pleasant. The staff is friendly and has always done everything possible to address any and all concerns I have brought to their attention. As far as Dr's go I wouldnt trade mine for the world. Dr Zhao listens, offers different solutions and truly want to see you improve in your overall health. The entire staff has definitely "earned" 5 stars from me!!

If you are looking for true pain relief look no further. I have had several pain management doctors and this is the first one to ever sit down and listen to me. Rather than throw a bunch of pills at me and walk away he offered me a solution to end the majority of my pain. None of my previous doctors had done this. This doctor however, does not mess around when it comes to pain meds. You must follow the rules. Dr Karen is also super nice. She listens to your questions and concerns and then works to find a solution. This is the absolute best pain management office I have ever used.
