We had Mr. Chapman when we went and he made it great, learning about the history behind some of the buildings and getting to talk to a couple people who had actually seen and experienced things was awesome! If you haven’t done it you should 😁

Fun night on the town. I took my three teenagers and was thrilled that they really enjoyed the experience as well. I love the historical piece and Steve is very engaging and entertaining. Definitely recommend for those looking for something a little different, but a lot of fun.

Positive: Quality, Value We did the Ghost and Murders walking tour while in Salida and it was great! Steve is a funny and engaging tour guide, sharing both interesting and creepy historical and ghost stories about the town. It was fun to get to see different parts of the town and get some local tips about good places to eat, drink, and have fun! Highly recommend!

If you are interested in how this city got it's start and are curious about the interesting characters, this tour is for you! Bring your teens (15 and up is what I might recommend) along too. (Even though there are some stories of murders....and unless they tend to have nightmares). We got to see many places of business we want to come back and visit too! If you like good ole ghost stories.Tour guide was well informed, professional, with fun and humor. Don't miss out! Put it on your Bucket List!

Steve was an awesome storyteller and history buff. We enjoyed walking Salida and listening to the stories he had to tell. We wished we could have gone inside the buildings to potentially have a "first-hand experience" with the spirits that live inside.

Positive: Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, Value Wanted to do a salida history tour, but only haunted tour was available so why not lol, pleasantly surprised with this tour, it was fun AND informative. The guide had a quirky playful personality that keeps your attention and he seemed to know alot about the area. Good Professional safety points are a plus. Will tour again with them. Just know you have to book in advance. Thanks SWT for doing this tours!

A MUST SEE IN SALIDA CO: My husband and I took both tours ( history&ghost) we were very pleased with both of them . Steve is an amazing tour guide the info was spot on and his sense of humor was refreshing. The time went by so quickly! We will tour with him again. We truly enjoyed it. Steve was such a wonderful guide! Not only did he give us the history of Salida on the murder and ghost tour, he recommended things to do in the area! Our boys are so into ghost adventures and they wanted to do a second tour with him because they were sure they missed so something! It was a great experience and our whole family enjoyed it!

It was so much fun to tour the town and learn about the early settlers, the madams roles, why they decided to locate the town where they did, the architecture, the importance of the RxR and how law and order was enforced. Our tour guide was awesome. I can’t wait to take another tour on a different topic.

Very amusing and was willing to work with me on payment when I didn't have PayPal. He was able to charge the tour to my hotel room (which was specifically mentioned in the tour!) so it made it even more convenient. A lot of good local information both past and present. Would recommend and look forward to taking the Wild West tour next time I'm in town. Thanks for the memories!
