GooglePositive: Quality I took my mom on a Ghost and Murder tour with Steve, while she was in town and we both had so much fun! Both of us love ghost stories, murder stories and history and this tour was the best of all three in one! Steve did such a fantastic job at not only telling all the stories, but involving the whole group in the tour as well! It was so cool to be able to learn some (dark) history of the town I now call home! I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting that is interested in dark history like myself and my mom!

GoogleI was born and raised in Salida and have a lot of family history here. My husband’s family came to Salida in the 1800s . My family came in the early 1900s. The ghost tour was so fun and my granddaughter and I learned so much more about the early history of Salida. Steve does a great job! Very worth going on this tour. We look forward to the Wild West history tour.

GoogleSteve puts on one helluva show! Our tour was pretty exceptional for many reasons. We took the ghost and murder tour and were treated with a rain and lightning storm throughout the tour as well as a full moon. Steve made sure we were all happy with conditions before proceeding, and went out of his way to find us shelter throughout the tour while he got drenched. It didn’t phase him at all. He put on a great tour with exceptional stories and experiences and made the hair stand up on the back of our necks. High recommend any tour put on by Steve. 10/10 would go again!

Salida Walking Tours has a Murder Mystery Tour that will feed all your desires to hear the deep dark secrets of the town. Don’t be surprised if you see orbs in any pictures taken after the tour. Apparently, Salida ghosts love making new friends.
