GoogleI went to this company. Not knowing what to expect. And my lifetime I have heard of these so-called transmission guys that lied to you cheat you and still not do the repairs that is necessary for your transmission. However my transmission experts walk me through it tell me exactly what they were going to do and to my surprise they did exactly what they said they were going to do! They went above and beyond the call of duty. They even helped me out with financing and payment of the work that they have performed. The day that I got my truck 2005 if 150 out of the shop I got rear-ended by another vehicle shortly thereafter on my way home. My transmission experts helped me in that aspect also. So if I ever have another issue with my vehicle I will definitely take it to my transmission expert in Porter located on highway 494. If they are unequipped to help you in whatever matter you have for your vehicle I trust that they can at least point you in the right direction to be able to get your vehicle back on the road properly.

For this quality of service and honest pricing I won’t go anywhere else for major repairs like this. Save yourself the hassle of calling all over town for wild estimates and just give these guys a call.

GoogleReally professional and excellent work my transmission expert save me $6000 because of the dealer want to replace the whole transmission and they have not did their due diligence and diagnosis I took the vehicle out from the dealership operate with my transmission expert were able to diagnose and check to find the issue and it was a sensor faulting issue and just cost me 425 bucks to fix this transmission problem instead of replacing the whole transmission that gonna cost $6500, my transmission expert they know are very professional and they know was they doing wait to go I’m so happy thank you

While I would not recommend the porter shop at all, I cannot give enough praise to the guys at the Jones Rd. Location! Robert and George took fantastic care of my car and made me feel like a priority. They kept me up to date on what was going on and did the job right. When I had questions or concerns, they listened and explained. Highly recommend them!

Google2014 Jeep Wrangler was leaking oil from the rear main seal which meant transmission had to be dropped to access the leak. They took care of replacing rear shocks and bushings associated with rear stabilizer as well. Ended up keeping the vehicle a little longer than anticipated but well worth it for the honest service I received. When they put the transmission back in and tested everything they found there was still some oil leaking. Jack contacted me right away to let me know they would have to drop the transmission again to get to the repair. I say all this because they didn't charge me a penny more for labor or parts associated with dropping the transmission again to correct the leak they hadn't caught the first time around. I highly recommend My Transmission Experts as they are honest, good communicators and not looking to price gouge you like some mechanics do.

GoogleI came to MTE with a 1984 Chevy Pickup Truck with auto transmission that would not shift out of 1st gear. Brian Williams (Manager) and the MTE crew had the Truck correctly diagnosed with one test drive. Replacement parts were ordered for next day delivery. Brian called me at 11 AM the next day, indicating work on my Truck was completed and driving like new. BBBTook my charger hellcat (my baby) to My Transmission Experts after talking to them on the phone about a loud clunking noise I’d been hearing. They seemed genuine so I trusted them. They called me as soon as they checked it out, turned out to be a few loose bolts on my driveshaft and they tightened them at no charge.. customer for life!!!

GoogleExcellent service! Definitely coming back with these guys for ALL my vehicle problems. ESPECIALLY TRANSMISSION! Told them that I needed to replace the rear main seal on my 2004 Suburban. It was leaking oil way too much.. And I was asked if I had gotten a quote from somewhere already. In one place they charged me $920 an another was going to be $850 parts and labor. The owner makes a face of disgust an replies " Wow, those people are shameless." He starts explaining that they over charge because, " those mechanics tell you that they have to DROP THE TRANSMISSION an make a BIIIIG DEAL out of nothing!" $350 labor plus parts! Rear main seal was $40!! I didn't even break the 400 mark an had it ready in one day!!! Go with these guys for ALL YOUR VEHICLE PROBLEMS! They will set you straight with no BS, an have you rolling out without charging you an arm an leg.
