I recently had the pleasure of working with Jason, a highly skilled mortgage broker, on two separate occasions. My experience with him was nothing short of exceptional, and I am thrilled to share my thoughts on his outstanding service.

First Encounter: Initial Mortgage
My initial interaction with Jason was for obtaining a mortgage on my new home. As a first-time homebuyer, I was overwhelmed by the process and the abundance of information that comes with it. Jason immediately put my mind at ease with his approachable demeanor and extensive knowledge. He patiently walked me through the process, answered my questions, and ensured I understood the implications of each decision I made.

Things became more challenging when I changed jobs after pre-qualification, but Jason worked his magic to make everything happen. Through his diligent efforts, he was able to secure my mortgage, surpassing all expectations.

Second Encounter: Mortgage Requalification
Our second encounter was just as remarkable as the first one, albeit filled with its share of snags. This time, I needed to requalify for a mortgage and remove my mom's name from it. Once again, Jason proved to be an invaluable resource. He carefully explained the requalification process and the required documentation, providing me with clear instructions on how to proceed.

However, we encountered issues with land titles and obtaining signatures from my mother, who was out of the country at the time. These complications made me feel like all was lost. But Jason, with his unwavering determination, expertly navigated the complexities and managed to resolve the problems. His prompt responses and consistent follow-up made the entire experience seamless and stress-free, despite the hurdles we faced.

Throughout both instances, Jason's professionalism, expertise, and genuine care for his clients shone through. He was there for me every step of the way, even during moments when I was on the verge of freaking out. His calming presence and reassurance made it evident that he truly had my best interests at heart.

It is terrifying try to navigate buying your first home on your own.
I say without hesitation that Jason essentially held my hand throughout the entire process; explaining in detail what to expect, what I needed to have prepared and thoroughly laying out every aspect of the home buying process that I didn’t quite understand.
Jason fought to have my interest rates lowered upon approval from the bank, offered me a variety of different programs and incentives available to individuals, and made a point of ensuring I knew all of the options that were available to me.

We have not had experience purchasing a home, since we bought and sold our last one in 2012/2013. I found Jason Goodwin by searching Google for mortgage brokers. He had great reviews and ratings. I now understand why.

To understate a little, although good credit, our credit situation was complex. Jason was very good with us and explaining everything to the exact level of detail required for both myself and wife to understand, as we progressed to a new mortgage. This is not our first house, however, it has been a few years since owning a home and some rules have changed. Jason was very knowledgeable with all the requirements that lenders would have and helped us to easily move into a mortgage for our new (to us) home. We found Jason very helpful and would keep in contact with us every step of the way. Whether it was a simple text message or a lengthy phone call, he made sure we were always comfortable and kept us up to date.

My wife and I are super impressed with Jason’s professionalism, knowledge and honesty. I will absolutely come to Jason for all our mortgage needs in the future, be it a renewal or a new purchase. I will also recommend Jason to anyone I can who is looking for help with a mortgage.

Jason has been an absolute Godsend. He helped us through every process of our home purchase and we had been in contact with him from a year before we decided to buy. He was patient and kind and took extra steps to make sure everything was clear and everything was in place.
