I worked with Sue at Good Ole Tom’s when I went to their Hartford Area store. She was so attentive and organized, I really appreciated all the help she gave me at figuring what I needed. Sue was kind and incredibly knowledgable. I highly recommend working with Sue and her team :)

Shopped a bracelet around that was handed down to me. Out of the 6 local shops Good Ol Toms were the only ones that didn't want to play games and gave me the most money. They beat a few stores by hundreds of dollars...Won't go anywhere else for now on!!

I had some gold jewelry and sold to Good Ole Toms and got a really great price I was surprised. So I found some more at home and decided to check out another very popular pawn store, they offered me a good amount but then I asked what’s the cost of gold today? The guy didn’t even know! He looked it up and it went up from prior day but he didn’t offer a new price so I went back to Good Ole Toms and they offered $40 more.
If I didn’t ask that guy the price for that day I would have just thought it was a good deal and took it but I knew I wasn’t getting the best deal.
Megan and the other lady that work in East Hartford are so friendly and really go over each piece so you know what you’re selling and getting. I will definitely go back, it was a great experience.

I went to Goodole Tom with my unwanted gold and silver. I met with this young man Daniel and young lady Megan and the service they provided me was exceptional. They were very knowledgeable and professional. They gave me the top/best price compared to 3 different other places around that I went to. Made a trip to Good Ole Tom's today. I first called as I had a question on what I was trying to sell. I spoke to an individual that was professional and polite!!. When I got to the store I was greeted and asked what they could do to help. To be honest I was unsure what to expect but was delighted with the service and the young lady that worked with me! Went to good ole Toms with some old silverware that was collecting dust and left with $600 ! They're alright in my books. Thanks again good ole Toms for helping my family with our Florida fund! Sunshine never felt better considering it was payed for buy unused flatware :)

No issues from my point of view having gone there three times. Pricing for jewelry fair (gold rings) and on second visit sold an old ring. Days after an acquaintance inquired if I still had that ring and I said no. On my last visit I asked if the ring was still there. The person who purchased it said "yes" I asked how much she would sell it for and she replied "15 dollars more than I gave you". That was a good price and I gave my acquaintance the store card. Needless to say the need to make cash is one part of the business-the second part is customer relations and I recommend the store. In addition-I had an old ten dollar fed note that potentially was worth a bit more-I guessed maybe 15 dollars-she looked at the bill and said "worth ten dollars as a circulated bill" and following up online indeed 10 dollars. Payment is in check and bank across street accepts so no riding elsewhere to close out-1/2/3 and done.

Out of all places that I’ve been to in the past, Good Ole Toms just happens to be the best. I went in on a hunch when I came across some old gold jewelry and coins that my grandmother left behind in her attic. True to their word they gave me the best pricing on the items, which actually helped me out in a time of need. The service was amazing. I was helped by a young lady by the name of Cassandra.

Her warm welcoming personality was just as good as the money I received. She truly knew her stuff and made me feel comfortable in the process. I recommend this place to anyone looking to get rid of any items that might be of value.

Today was our first time going to Good Ole Tom's & it was an excellent first visit.

The staff was very kind & helpful answering all questions that we had as well as explaining some highly techenical scientific process's used to determine different weights of gold, 10k, 18k, 24k.

The best part is..

.. We had @ $800 worth in gold..

but Good Ole Toms paid us.. $850!

What a score! ..

For simply turning in our old gold jewlery at Good Ole Tom's.

Being someone who frequently loses an earring out of a pair I thought it would be a good idea to pawn my mismatched jewelry. I initially intended on shopping around to see which pawn shop would give me the best deal but after my experience at Good Ole Tom's I did not need to. I worked with Yelena at the East Hartford location and she was very informative, patient, and kind. I was assured I would receive the best price for my old jewelry. The process was so quick and easy and I did not feel pressured whatsoever. I would definitely return to Good Ole Tom's in the future because of my great first experience.
