This is the second time we have used DGD (Discount Garage Doors) for an install but the first written review. We felt it was important to leave our impression of the company and their service. Often the only feedback is negative, so it’s nice to provide positive information. The response to our need and the quality of the service was outstanding. We were offered an appointment time and the service technician was prompt and helpful. The work was outstanding and completed on a timely basis. Overall a quality job.

I am not one to write reviews, but the service of Luke from Discount Garage Doors, Inc. was absolutely outstanding. On a Friday night at 8:30 p.m. he was thorough, dedicated and honest to make sure that I was pleased with my garage repair. Let’s be honest, most consumers are afraid to call for repairs because one does not always know the integrity of the repairman. I assure you that you will not have those concerns with DGD. Luke took such pride in his work, a rarity these days, you could see he was an honorable man who sincerely wanted to do things the right way. I can recommend DGD without reservation.

Luke did an excellent job of repairing (replacing) all our garage door seals. DGD’s cost was very reasonable. Luke came out, gave the estimate and then immediately performed the work. He was easy to deal with and offered some good suggestions for the future.

Garage door broke on a Sunday night, I called and talked to an actual person, she took my information and a representative called first thing Monday morning and Randy came, diagnosed, gave us options to fix the problem and fixed the problem within the hour! Excellent service, fast response, someone actually answered the phone, and Randy was extremely knowledgeable and professional. I can’t say enough about GDG. I called about my garage door opener, they answered and they scheduled the maintenance for the very next day. Randy called to say he was on the Wayne was on time and dressed for the work. He thoroughly explained the issue, and fixed it. I asked about the worn seal on the door that needed replacing and he replaced right then and there. Other companies told me they had to order the seal and would get back with me but they didn’t. I highly recommend Discount Garage Doors!

DGD is a superior company and my experience doing business with them is an A. From scheduling the appointment to their confirmation of the upcoming appointment and then to DGD’s technician Matthew, all was professional. Matthew phoned on the appointment day ahead of the scheduled time to give me his ETA (which was a few minutes early). Upon his arrival and examination of the quirky door’s operation, Matthew clearly was confident and definitely highly skilled. He explained what he was doing in understandable terminology as he worked. Even though my knowledge is limited about these mechanisms (that is an overstatement), Matthew shared each procedure and why he was doing it. And he patiently answered all my queries irrespective of their pertinence. He quickly realized I’m a curious consumer and I did learn a few things. Of course, most importantly, Matthew repaired the issue even though it was not a standard problem. Recall my former description of “quirky.” He was determined to locate and fix the well-hidden quirk. His determination paid off. I’m grateful to DGD and certainly to Matthew who went above and beyond to find a fixable solution rather than push to make a sale of a new system. In this day in age when there is a plethora of companies boasting their superiority relative to their competitors, choosing the best and most skilled is a game of chance. So allow me to remove the guesswork for you. When your garage door opener is broken or quirky, call Discount Garage Doors and rest assured you are going to get excellent and highly skilled work, you will be respected and the cost charged is reasonable.
