Great location, walking distance to many stores and restaurants. Overall great experience. Gave a 4 due to sofa being run down and a bit dirty

The room itself was clean and nice. The stuff were very helpful and nice. The breakfast was also nice and had a good variety of breakfast items. The only thing is that The restroom wasn’t that good and I think instead of just painting the bathtub and walls and everything. It needs kind of renovation. But overall, it was a very good experience.

Stayed here while visiting the San Diego Safari Park and had a really good experience overall. The location is super convenient for exploring North County San Diego, especially if you want to avoid the busier downtown area. The room was clean, parking was easy, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is not luxury, but everything was comfortable and well maintained. Breakfast was simple but solid, and there were plenty of restaurants and stores nearby. We also drove to Carlsbad and the beach very easily from here. Great value for the price and a good option for families or road trips. Would stay here again.

The hotel is updated and very clean with daily housekeeping service. The breakfast was very nice and the "non-alcoholic happy hour" was an unexpected treat. I definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

It was very clean, and I liked the little balcony off the room. The only complaint I have is the customer service. We arrived on 5/20/26 at a little after 4pm. The young man who checked us in never smiled, didn't seem to like his job at all. I asked him where the Breakfast Buffet was, he sighed and said "Down the hall, on the right". I then asked what time the buffet was served, and he gave me a look like I was bothering him, waited a few seconds, and said "5:30 to 10". No "Enjoy your stay" or "Thank you for choosing Comfort Inn", nothing besides handing me the keycards.

The price for quality of the room was much better than the other options here I’ve looked at or stayed in. The price matched some of the other hotels, but the room here was much nicer. The beds were actually very comfy and I slept amazing. I definitely will chose to come back here if I need to stay in the same area again. Thank you!

Great stay! The staff was friendly and welcoming. I loved the little extras like free snacks in the room, lemon water in the lobby, and complimentary breakfast served until 10. The location was super convenient and made it easy for us to get to our destinations, plus having a gas station and fast food spots right in the same parking lot was a bonus. Parking was easy and felt very safe. We had a top-floor room with a perfect view of our car in the parking lot, which I really appreciated. The bed was comfortable, and the little balcony was a nice touch. The room layout was great overall, though the bathroom is on the smaller side. This will definitely be our go-to hotel whenever we visit the area! 🌸

everything went well with the service and nearby amenities.. the only inconvenience was that the room had a leaky ceiling and we had to put a garbage can at 2am to stop the floor from getting wet

We love this place! We stay here every time we come to the Safari Park (every other month). Staff is really friendly, breakfast is great and the rooms are clean and well maintained. Looking forward to our next visit!
