My only complaint is that the rooms are HOT when you check in. No AC running at all and when it's mid-summer and humid, it's brutal. Just a bit of AC works be good. It did cool off fairly quickly.

My only comment involves the new sign in front of the hotel. I have spent a great number of nights at this hotel over the last 15 years. But if this is no longer a Comfort Inn, I am finished with it. I am a big fan of Choice Hotels. But I won't be using this place if it leaves Choice Hotels!

I had a wonderful stay! The check-in process was fast, easy, and welcoming, which made for a great first impression. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and had excellent amenities. The complimentary breakfast had a great variety and was a perfect way to start the day. There was plenty of convenient parking, and the hotel is in a great location with several restaurants and food options nearby, making it easy to grab a meal without having to travel far. It's also very family-friendly, which made the stay even more enjoyable. I actually work at a hotel myself, so I tend to notice the little details that make a guest experience stand out. This property did a fantastic job with hospitality, cleanliness, and overall service. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable place to stay.

Used hotel as a base for family trip to San Diego Animal Safari. Enjoyed our 3 night stay. Owner and staff very friendly. Wanted to be sure our stay was comfortable. Free breakfast with many choices. Additionally there is a free "happy hour" in the evening with hot dogs, chips, and cookies. Comfortable beds and swimming pool. Would definitely stay here again.

Everything at the comfort inn was great. The man at the front desk was very helpful and kind. We will definitely return next time we’re in San Diego. The bed was clean and soft like a cloud.

Room was very clean and comfortable! Perfect location has many take out/fast food options walking distance. There is also a shopping center across the street. The breakfast buffet was amazing!

I have no complaints except hot tub wasnt too u0dated and jets were not very strong other than that I didnt really care because the beds were soo comfortable tv was new and updated so was the ac unit and thats really all we ask also the Waffles for breakfast were delicious 😋 thanks we will be back.!

The hotel is centrally located across from the shopping center and very nice restaurants. The room was clean and quiet. Breakfast food was very good as well. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Location is great and right off freeway. There’s many food & shopping choices in walking distance. Lots of Breweries not To far either. It was convenient that the rooms had refrigerators and microwaves. The bed was very comfortable as well. They had a good FREE breakfast with plenty of options.

If you need a comfy and clean place to stay this is a great option. For an affordable cost compared to other hotels in the San Diego area you get a room that is cleaned daily including bedsheets, no bedbugs, TV, Microwave, Iron, Ironing board, Free snacks, Clean bathroom, and everything in working order. I did not use any of the offered amenities or pool, but I can say that I slept nice and sound for the two nights I stayed which was most important to my wife and I. The area is also near many businesses such as an In-N-Out next door along with Canes and many stores to shop and get things you need. It is also right next to the I-15 leading you straight to the best areas of San Diego. We didn't see anything or anyone shady or off-putting and felt safe leaving our car parked. Also parking is free! No suprise charges or fees. The things I am saying you usually cannot say about Hotels/Motels in San Diego at the same price point. If I was in a pinch and had to stay in budget for a vacation I would definitely stay here again. Amazing value.

Great host, nice rooms. Great breakfast and good timeframe compare to other hotels. Located next to major freeways and all shopping and eating locations. Came here for a soccer tournament. I would definitely book here again next time around.

My family and I had an amazing stay at the comfort inn, jacuzzi was wonderful and the breakfast was amazing. We ran a little bit behind on checkout, and the general manager had no problem with extending us an additional half hour. Do I need to tell you where my family and I will be staying the next time we're in escondido🙂....Thank you
