We were there with my Family, 1 night stay and it was enjoyable. Quiet and restaurant and department stores in walking distance. If anything the pillows were too small but did the job. The breakfast was a plus! We would definitely stay again.

I had an excellent stay at the Comfort Inn Hotel. The front desk staff, especially Mr. Hussain, was incredibly courteous and helpful. Great hotel as is all the Comfort Inns we have stayed at. This one is an exceptional one very close to many restaurants and in a very nice area. Always clean rooms with a friendly staff The free breakfast with abundant choices from waffles, cereal, eggs, bacon/sausage, fruit, pastries, coffee and juices is very a very nice amenity. We'll be back!!

I’ve actually been visiting this establishment for over 25 years. It does look a bit dated, but overall it was clean and looks to cater to a lot of working companies during the week such as myself who need a good location, close to services and restaurants at a fair rate. It’s not the Hilton, but it is a clean and decently maintained establishment

Quick one night stay to visit family and safari park. Bed was comfortable. Big breakfast. Free snacks. Friendly staff. Coloring supplies for kids at breakfast. I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Comfort Inn Escondido and i must say, i was thoroughly impressed with my room, from the moment i walked in i could tell that the room had been meticulously cleaned and prepared for my stay.
The first thing that caught my attention was the comfortable and inviting bed, the sheets were crisp and clean, and the pillows were fluffy and plentiful, i had no trouble falling asleep and waking up feeling well rested.
The room itself was spacious and well designed, i appreciated the thoughtful details, such as the desk and chair for me to work at and the ample storage space for my belongings, the decor was modern and tasteful making me feel right at home.
The bathroom was also impressive, with a large shower and plenty of counter space, the towels were soft and absorbent and there were plenty of toiletries provided for my convenience, one of my favorite things about the room was the mini fridge and microwave, it was so convenient to have these amenities in the room allowing me to store and heat up snacks and drinks during my stay.
The overall cleanliness of the room was top notch, i could tell that the housekeeping staff takes great pride in their work as every corner of the room was spotless.
The staff at the Comfort Inn Escondido were also friendly and welcoming, they were quick to answer any questions i had and made sure that i had everything i needed for a comfortable stay.
The location of the hotel was also ideal, with easy access to nearby restaurants and attractions i was able to explore the area and then come back to my cozy and comfortable room.
Overall, my experience at the Comfort Inn Escondido was fantastic, the room exceeded my expectations and provided a comfortable and relaxing stay, i highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay, i will definitely be returning on my next trip.

I always have a comfortable stay whenever I'm at Comfort Inn in Escondido. Its always been my choice place to stay whenever I come to that part of town. I will definitely be spending my Christmas break at Comfort Inn. 👍 Very peaceful and quiet. From time to time there are kids who congregate in the back parking lot but they don't appear to do any harm.

To be fair parking lot is a little small, but the area surrounding the hotle has every type of food that you could want, both grub hub and door dash deliver.

We normally stay in much nicer hotel chains but needed Something a little cheaper than what we normally do… And this Comfort Inn more than exceeded our expectations. Very clean room, complementary snacks, and water, and a delicious continental breakfast with a good assortment of hot and cold items. All the rooms are chilled, made entering very comfortable after being in the heat all day.

Location was in an area that was accessible to all areas of San Diego. Room was good except for ironing board was loose. It almost fell on me. Outside had lush gardens. Exit back door slammed shut. Don't know why it hasn't fallen off. Other than that everything else was fine.

This hotel was beyond expectations. The best Comfort Inn I’ve stayed at yet. The hotel grounds were clean and welcoming. The staff from check in to the cleaning people and breakfast lady all had smiles and really cared. The room was perfect. Had fridge, microwave, coffee pot, snacks and a couple bottles of water. Our room had a balcony, I believe all rooms had them but not sure) which was a pleasant surprise to be able to sit out and have coffee or just relaxing outside. I would definitely stay here again with hesitation. So glad I chose this instead of another hotel down the road. Also this hotel had easy access to the 15 and 78. There is a In & Out Burger next door, Raising Canes & Del Taco right across the driveway access

I came to visit my boyfriend and we stayed here at the Comfort Inn. It was a pleasant experience. The service was excellent and the employees were very friendly. Breakfast was great. The only complaint I would have is, the rooms were cleaned everyday however they would just switch the bedding around, they wouldn’t wash it. The hotel is located next to a bunch of stores, In and Out and Canes. We really enjoyed our stay here! We will be coming back!

It was a pleasant stay. The service was quick and friendly. The location was great with all the restaurants and stores around. I liked the free breakfast, as it had a range of options to choose from. I also liked the room I was given because of the view. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 star was because there were some ants in our restroom and the tv didn't work.

This place is clean, comfortable, and has all the amenities one would expect. And the staff is nothing but friendly. I’m here for work for a couple of weeks - and I am happy I chose this Comfort Inn. There are cheaper options nearby, but the value for your money is greater here. It’s the service and comfort of a high end hotel for a mid tier price, and when you travel for work as much as I do, that becomes very important-!

Came in for the night, staff was welcoming. They had coffee and lemon water available. In the room they had free bottles of water and snacks to choose from. The pool was refreshing and the beds were comfortable. Would definitely recommend this hotel. Lots of nearby restaurants, stores, and things to do.

Escondido is a nice little community. It took us about 35 mins to get to San Diego from there but it was so worth the drive, beautiful scenery and plenty of wine vineyards and good restaurants to visit…hotel was absolutely great…i saw the neg reviews and was worried - don’t worry! Great ppl running this hotel w constant cleaning good breakfast and comfortable beds. Each room even has a little patio for you to sit out if you want…loved it!

The comfort inn was in the perfect location for me. Right off the 15 with easy access to the 78. Has so many places within walking distance, target is a quick walk across the street, with a number of other shops and restaurants, so if you're tired of driving or dealing with traffic, you can get to at least 20 different food places within 5 to 10 minute walk.
The continental breakfast offers a wide range selection so no matter what you like for breakfast there is high chance you'll find it.
The room was spacious, offer a sitting area to kick back and relax on the couch. My room had a balcony which was perfect for relaxing also.

The staff was so friendly. We didn’t like the location of our rooms and they changed them right away.
Location was great! So close to food.
The breakfast was good! The only thing is I wish the breakfast area was bigger because it does get congested at peak hour. Eat at 7:30 am.
The only con really is the floor at the pool is dirty. It needs to be pressure washed. But the pool and spa other than that are decent.
It’s an older hotel. Not upgraded but you can tell the owners and staff really make up for it in other areas.

The staff was great. My room was clean and was freshened up every day. Great breakfast. The number of places to eat by the hotel are numerus. Back road to Del mar was a beautiful drive, and only 25 minutes away. I would stay ere again and highly recommend tis place

Overall was a nice hotel and close to Sea World and the San Diego Zoo. However, it does need some updating to the rooms, e.g, lament flooring rather than carpet. Larger elevator. Also, the A/C wasn't working in the main hallways or lobby of the hotel as well as in the breakfast area. Something management should address especially since it was in the high 80's low 90's. Breakfast provided was very good. Staff were nice and pleasant.

The mattress was great. Room was clean and well thought out with many USB plugs, good bathroom lighting, WIFI and TV selections. The staff was outstanding; helpful with parking and anything needed: really friendly and nice. I feel like a got a good deal for my dollar. The hotel was packed, but I never "heard" anyone. We enjoyed a relaxing stay. Was it the Ritz? No, it was a restful, clean, use your extra money for a nice dinner out.

My husband and I stayed at the Comfort Inn in Escondido after our daughter was involved in a horrific hit and run accident and was admitted to a rehab facility nearby. The manager Raj, could not have been nicer or more understanding as we navigated through this family crisis. The bed was so comfortable, the complimentary breakfast was great and having laundry facilities on site was very helpful. We were delighted with the bottles of water and basket of snacks in the room when we arrived.
The young man at the desk was very helpful getting my tablet to connect.
The breakfast is one of the best buffets we have had. Great little extras like the blueberries, strawberries and whipped for the waffles.
The only negative was that the toilet seat rocked a little when you sat on it. I forgot to tell them at checkout, my bad.
The room was very clean and the maid did a great job, as we stayed 2 nights. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The owners are really friendly and the rooms are clean. The breakfast hours are packed and having a great assortment of options, fresh watermelon, grapes, cantaloupe. Breads, waffle maker, and the usual bacon, sausage, powdered eggs, biscuits and gravy. Only thing that I wish was kept better is the pool area. It’d be nice to pressure wash the pool area. It looks like it’s not been cleaned in a while. Debris in the pool water. When I look up at the roof where the chairs are situated, you see years or cobwebs hanging..

A wonderful hot breakfast was available every morning with great options.
The entire staff were pleasant and accommodating. They stored my scooter for me.
It was located near an In & Out Burger which made it easy to locate due to the signage. There was plenty of free parking. The flower beds were beautiful and we enjoyed the sweet scent of jasmine every time we came or went.
This is a little older property but everything was clean and well maintained.
This was our first stay at this hotel and we will definitely stay again! It will be our “go to” for our future stays in Escondido!
