Microphone was not working properly in my cell phone. They tried cleaning it and searching for no/low cost fix first. That was appreciated. The young man working was very friendly. I ended up need a new microphone and chose to replace it. It was cheaper than expected and they took care of me in less than 24 hours. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

The folks at Tek Expert Columbus are friendly & actually fairly unflappable even in the face of a very busy store filled with customers. Carl & Gerado handle each customer's issues with grace & care. Customer service is exceptional. The pricing is MORE than fair & they feature a frequent customer discount club so one can obtain some nice discounts upon continued repairs & purchases on computers & mobile phones AND stay apprised of specials that are offered at Tek Expert.
They service ALL types of mobile phone & computer equipment. This is a fine locally owned business. I purchased a used IPhone XR with lots of memory along with an Otterbox Pop snap case. I purchased a new battery for my husband's IPhone 6s & was very pleased with the pricing on everything I bought from Tek Expert.
Thank you to Carl who handled the entire transaction & thank you to Gerado who offered helpful hints on the workings of & handling of my newly purchased iPhone XR (10th generation) phone for which I had NO prior experience. Great job! I'll return there for other computer repair & future mobile phone products & repairs as the need arises.

Carl was most helpful & so was Gerado. My hubby & I made our 1st ever visit to Tek Expert on the recommendation of our grown son.
Our sole intent was to purchase new batteries for our existing two IPhone 6s. Upon entering the showroom ( it’s quite nice & really large & well lit) we noticed the resale offerings of used computers & mobile phones that were in showcases. I found a really nice “ gently used” clean IPhone XR with 128 Mbytes of memory. I decided that THAT new phone with its extra capacity would serve me better than my initial plan to buy a new battery for my older IPhone.. So I DID purchase a new battery from Carl for my husband’s IPhone 6s but I also decided on the spot to purchase the IPhone XR (10th generation). I had no experience handling the newer technology. Carl & the other associate on site Gerado were patient & helpful with me despite the fact that many customers were entering the store while we did our training & transaction. I like that this is a locally owned enterprise & not some monster sized mega corporation.
Other associates at the store were also friendly & professional when I took my phone back for technical data transfer from my former IPhone to my new IPhone XR. I have not yet gone back to retrieve the phones but I expect I will again find courtesy & proficiency. Yes! I recommend this business! Jane Marti

Tek expert are VERY good at their job. They do it for a good price, and for just about ANY phone. The staff there were very friendly and were happy to help!
But only one problem, but only ONE. I didn’t get an email or text/call when my phone was done. But its not that big of a deal. I still got my phone! :D

My 2012 Macbook Pro had been operating at an increasingly slower level over the past two years. I kept putting off repairing it because I didn't know who to trust to properly fix it. Prices for other used macbooks were at least $400, which I couldn't afford. Jay at Tek Experts was able to give my computer new life in just two weeks! He installed an SSID and provided me with 4 more GB of RAM and now my computer is as quick as something brand new, seriously. He frequently called me over the course of the repair time to let me know what was happening with my device. The total cost for all services was just ~$200. I am so grateful to Tek Experts for their quick, professional, knowledgeable service.

I was pleased with the service I received except for ho long it took to get my computer back. I needed a new WIFI card and it took 3 weeks for the repair. It was effectively completed at a fair rate. I only wish it had been more timely.

I recently found a notebook in to Tek experts. It was not running at all, and they did their best to fix what ended up being in unfixable problem. They picked the notebook up at my house since I was not very mobile all the time, and they were very professional and very nice. I will use them again.

If you need work done make sure to call ahead and make an appt because they are busy. This is the second time we have taken our phones and they do a great job repairing it.
