After suffering through a previous solar company that installed an incomplete solar back-up system to connect with our existing Solar panels installed in 2014, Solar Service Professional were very responsive and reinstalled and added the necessary components to provide us with back-up in the event of a power outage -

We received a bill of over $3000. from SCE. When I called to investigate this huge error, we were told oursolor panels have not been working. We have had them for 6 yrs, been great. The company we used, of course no longer in business. The next prob was some companies I called would only work on their own panels. When I call SSP they were very helpful and scheduled an inspection appt for the following week. Luis came as scheduled, very polite. He spent time, not rushed, to look for the issue. Fortunately, the unit was not working due to poor installation of the Jbox. Not a very expensive fix. He took pictures to show us what the problem was and he fixed it. He spent more time with us answering questions we had and explained more about how to monitor the system. He was great.

Our solar system had stopped producing this summer. I found Solar Service Professionals on yelp and gave them a call. They were the only ones willing to come out and diagnose our 12 year old system. Not only that, they were extremely knowledgeable on the phone and were able to give me a range of what different repair options might cost. Even though I was prepared to have to replace the inverter, it turned out there was a much less expensive fault in one of the electrical connections. The repair and full diagnosis of my whole system cost $299 instead of thousands. Gavino, the tech, was great! He showed me what he was doing, explained everything and answered all my questions every step of the way. I am very happy to have found Solar Service professionals!

One of my solar inverters failed. I found Solar Service through its outstanding Google reviews. Josh responded rather quickly and suggested a multi point inspection. Then Gavino came to our house in a couple of days. He performed a thorough inspection, opening up the three inverters to run system checks, climbed to the roof to make sure my 9 year old solar panels are working properly, no water sitting inside the junction boxes, etc. He confirms problem is with one of the inverters and made recommendations.
Gavino also put face mask on the whole time he was in our house. I really appreciate that for safety reasons.
I can't be happier with their services.

Saturday night we lost power to our house. The breaker was did not get tripped. The backup was not working either. We had no electricity or heat.
We were frantic. I found Solar Service Professionals on line. I called after hours on a Saturday night and Josh answered. He placed a work order for Monday morning however, the tech would not be able to service us for a few days. They are busy we get it. A service professional called us Monday evening and patiently walked us thru the process of reseting the internal breakers in our solar panel. It worked! 2 1/2 days no heat or electricity. We will never use anyone else foe our service needs.

SSP was great on all counts. Our inverter failed but SSP did all the work with SolarEdge to get a replacement under warranty. When there were some compatibility complications with the Internet connection, SSP worked with SolarEdge to resolve those--despite SolarEdge being clearly difficult to deal with (consistent with my personal experience with SolarEdge). Eventually SolarEdge sent out a new comm board and SSP came out to install it, and everything was good...except that SolarEdge never sent a reimbursement check for a needed part. After months of pestering, SolarEdge eventually sent the check (thank you, Daniel/SSP for sticking with it and finally getting SolarEdge to send the check!).
So, we can't say enough good things about Solar Service Professionals. if we do have another problem with our solar system we will call them without hesitation. I wish all service companies were as good as they are.

David inspected the solar panel set up and determined that the inverter box was defective. David ordered the defective item and had it delivered to the home address. When the item arrived Josh set up an appointment in a timely matter. David came on time to all the appointments that was made and also called ahead of time to inform that he was on the way. David also spoke very professionally and communicated very well. When David replaced the defective item, he explained the solar set up process and assisted in explaining how the solar process worked. Josh then arranged the rebate procedure which was above and beyond because as a client it may have been improperly submitted. Josh then set a reference number for us to follow up with the rebate. Josh and David provided one of the best services a client can ever imagine. Best regards and well wishes to Josh and David as it is a reflection to the company and I hope for them to get a raise and recognition for the service they have provided

I highly recommend Solar Service Proffesionals. We had a existing system from a company which went out of business. Thank goodness for this company who is able to continue looking after our solar system. Daniel their technician came to have a look at our system and was amazing. Explained in detail and easy to understand terms facts about our system and the process to improve it. He was extremely professional.
Josh followed up with a call saying he would go over our LADWP bills as well as what Daniel found on site and then call to give me different options. Plus if a problem was found with our Inverter and had to be replaced would do the warranty paperwork. This is very reassuring as most solar companies would not take over an existing system because of the warranty issues.
So glad that the owners of this company had the foresight to set up a business which looks after people like ourselves who have been “orphaned” by solar companies going out of business.
We consider solar a huge investment for our house, so to have our system be maintained by this amazing company is extremely reassuring.
