I received quotes from about five moving companies, and by far metrowide movers’ fixed rate quote was the most competitive and reassuring, since it was a fixed rate. We’ve used many moving companies over the years and they never complete the job in the projected time so it ends up costing more than we originally planned when paying by hour.
Not only did Kelli do a very good assessment of our move size, but the crew they sent was fantastic AND it was the fastest move we’ve ever had. It took them about six hours to move two trucks worth of items, and they did a great job. The entire crew was very respectful and communicative and super friendly! I worked with their main office and obviously the crew. Everyone was consistent. I was happy with a three man crew to help do everything in the minimum amount of time. Was very impressed with movers where they showed up earlier than I thought and since only had a few furniture items, was able to have items out within 20 minutes, then had them delivered to another place where also took only 20 minutes, add in the drive time from downtown ***********, ** to ************, **; complete total time of move was about 1.5 hours. I definitely wouldn't have been able to move the heavy furniture items, but they have been doing that for years and were very careful in loading/unloading furniture. I would recommend anyone moving would be to remove any drawers from dresser as well as any items from any cabinets that need moved, since makes it easier and quicker to unload/load. Would definitely use them again in the future as may need to later this year to move a few items to a warehouse as well as would definitely recommend them to friends.

My schedule was between 8:00AM and 10:00AM. At 7:45AM I was called and told they would be at my place at 8:15 and they were right on time.
There were 3 men that were ready for work and they worked as a team and they didn't stop loading or unloading until they were finished. As locked up my place and took things I wanted to take with me, they drove to my new place, and were backed up the driveway, had the ramp down and ready to unload. They were.friendly but neat and knew what to do. I had most boxes labeled by room but when a boxed wasn't labeled, they asked where it should go. They took beds apart and asked where I wanted furniture put and set up. I was impressed how they put moving blankets on the sides doorways so not to scratch furniture or door jams.
I have moved a lot in my life, and by far, these 3 men knew what to do and best. It is the second time in 6 years I have used.Metro Wide Movers and I felt they were great each time. This move maybe better.
I did call 3 other moving companies for prices. Metro Wide did have the highest price, but because I liked them 6 years ago, I decided to pay the difference from 1 company $225 less
The men were experienced. They didn't complain if some of the furniture was heavy or was moved around corners or down stairs.
I checked out the truck and it was clean, dust free and even the moving blankets they used were neatly folded and plus they plastic wrapped some.
Using Metro Wide Movers twice was a good decision for me. I wouldn't hesitate using them again.
