We used Lindsey Macdonald photography to get my daughters head shots as she was signed with an agent. Once we booked with her she sent us tips and tricks which was really helpful and was very thorough in her introduction email about what to expect.
When we arrived onsite Lindsey and team were amazing and easy to work with. My daughter got her hear and makeup done onsite which is a service they offer , very reasonably priced and she did a great job.
During the photo shoot Lindsey was extremely professional yet fun, my daughter had a great time! She is very knowledgeable and when we received our proofs we were amazed how great they looked without being touched up. I would recommend her to everyone and will continue to use her whenever we are in need of headshots.

I was pretty nervous to get my headshots done for the first time. I brought a lot of clothes options and Lindsey narrowed them down and was very informative that she explained why she thought some worked better than others. She also gave me wardrobe recommendations for auditions.She made sure the background, lighting and makeup match up my clothes for each look. It really made me feel like that I was in good hands. The experience with Leanna, the makeup artist, was also great, I was very relaxed and didn't need to stress about changing my makeup and hair for different looks. She is THE headshot photographer. Period. The one you go to for a solid, fool-proofed portfolio. She specializes in headshots, however she also does amazingly at fitness and fashion shoots as well.
With so many years of experience, she has basically perfected her craft. She knew exactly what she was doing and yet also flexible. She was very structural and yet willing to listen to my input. My trust for her was pretty much established instantly, even before I met her.
Her studio is super clean and smells amazing (infused with essential oil), which made me feel very comfortable. I was able to relax and pose for the photos. My pictures came out so good that I cried. More than once. I would definitely work with her again.

Taking pictures (especially headshots) always made me feel nervous and awkward. It had also been a while since I took my last headshots, so the jitters were on 10!
The studio is a clean, nice space and the choice of music playing in the background was right up my alley; these observations instantly eased the nerves up a little. They also appropriately follow all C19 protocols.
Lindsey was calm, easygoing and welcoming as soon as I walked through the door. She wasn’t rude or rushing anything, and made sure everything went seamlessly. She picked out clothing items and addressed hair/makeup that she felt would work best for me, taking into consideration my look, age, etc.
Leanna, the hair/makeup artist working with Lindsey, is also very nice and observes all protocols while working with you.
Lindsey took my nerves away during the shoot by giving me easy to follow direction, making me genuinely laugh and going quickly so I didn't have time to overthink things.
I had a great experience with Lindsey and would shoot with her again anytime!
