I wanted to take a moment out to recommend Ron Beck of Lewis Realty as a real estate agent for any individual or family searching for their ideal home. Ours was not a unique situation, as I am nearing retirement - yet Ron handled the entire purchase process with expertise, timeliness and excellence. Cheraw, SC is a lovely place. And with the market as it is, my family needed those qualities in a realtor who knew the area - and the requirements for our of state move. Ron was the guy!
Ron had an initial meeting with us and took diligent notes regarding specific needs for our single family home - as well as our budgetary limitations. He provided answers for every question asked and saw to it we had info in our hands immediately. He provided the flexibility for us to make our own choices, in many cases, by providing the list of options we may have needed to consider. He didn't waste our time with homes that were out of our price range (or specifically with My Lewis). He was concerned only for our needs and he utilized all sorts of technology to attain results.
I find Ron to be a master with the contract negotiations, by coming up with a deal that was good for us and made the seller happy as well. Throughout this home buying process, I found there is nothing that escapes Ron's attention when it comes to property for sale in this area.
We also found Ron to be a highly attentive agent, almost as if we were his only customers, although we know that was not the case. He returned all phone calls and emails immediately and we never felt neglected or unimportant. He is also highly personable with an engaging personality. Ron was honest about some minor changes we would be responsible for - and with the assistance of Mary Anderson (also with My Lewis), their advice worked like a charm.
We are pleased to recommend Ron Beck to anyone looking to buy or sell a home. He is hands down the best in the business in our opinion and if we ever needed to move again, or recommend as a realtor to anyone, he will be our first choice in real estate agents.
