Here's why we didn't give our usual 5 stars. Other than this instance, weve been very satisfied over the years!
We had the annual service performed on our tankless water heater, which Fitzgerald always performs and we've always been happy. Our only complaint this time was that the technician didn't ensure we had hot water before he left. By the time we discovered this, it was after business hours. Thankfully, we were able to reach Patrick, who was awesome at talking me through some steps to try, but we had to wait until the next morning for hot water. Our suggestion would be to always check that everything is working perfectly before leaving.

Patrick the owner was very thorough when he came over to give us an estimate - we needed to either replace our water heater tank or go tankless and he talked us through the options in a way that was informative and easy to understand. While he was not the lowest bid we received, we went with Fitzgerald plumbing because he seemed more knowledgeable than the other guys for the quirky needs of our particular house and he just gives out good, honest, hardworking vibes. The install went seamlessly and one week later writing this review, we are happy, everything is as it should be! Also loved that he suggested adding a specific kind of filter at the tank site to try to avoid the snap, crackle and pop of sediment in the tank as time goes by. Thanks!

My wife and I recently purchased an older home in Long Beach. As we're new to the area all of our old vendor contacts are no good. We found Fitzgerald Plumbing through reviews and recommendations on NextDoor. Patrick was super fast in responding to our plumbing needs and Leo our plumber took great care of us. Identified the problem, talked through options to fix and got it done with a fair price the next day. We loved working with them so that when we found out they were now doing Heating and Air Conditioning we had them back out to service our unit. As before fast service, fair price and above all great work! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

They were able to fix a leak in my toilet on the same day I I called. Rather than replacing the toilet, he was able to replace the bolts to make the leak stop. That saved me a lot of money. The technician was professional, courteous, and I would call them again.

The pilot light in our 66-yr-old floor furnace kept was flickering. I found Fitzgerald Plumbing in our neighborhood website, and they were highly recommended. Smiling Leo rebuilt our floor furnace thermopile unit, which was like 66 years old. Then he placed a thermostat in the hall. Works like a charm! I never thought it would be possible, on such an old unit. I tried getting under the house to clean the furnace pilot and parts, but got a serious cramp in my thigh. Too old anymore, I guess.

This is a review from my wife who had to deal with this plumbing problem whiIe I was stuck at work!.....I found Fitzgerald Plumbing on Yelp and they are amazing!!!!!! I called Mike Diamond and Roto Rooter first because those were the only plumbers I could think of when I was panicking and our tub water was draining and coming up in our toilet and shower!! They couldn't come out for two days! I searched on yelp and saw Fitzgerald Plumbing having 5 stars. It was 9:00 at night and I called the number. It went to voicemail but the voicemail said to text the number to get a faster response. So I did and literally seconds later, Patrick texted me back saying he would be out at 9am the next morning! Amazing!!!! Patrick came right on time and explained everything to me so thoroughly! I knew I could trust him and he would do a great job and I was right! He knew the problem very quickly, got out his equipment and went to work! He even explained everything he was doing to me while he worked and helped me understand the problem and the solution! He was done in less than an hour I think and my whole house was functional again! So polite, so nice, so professional!! Great customer service and quality work! Beats the other competition by far! Will always use them from now on!

We used Fitzgerald Plumbing for the first time today. A tenant at one of our properties notified us they had a kitchen sink backup and needed to respond quickly to prevent further water damage.
Once we placed a call to Patrick at Fitzgerald Plumbing he responded within minutes and he arrived at the property the same day. He arrived on time, worked efficiently & professionally, and provided an accurate quote over the phone. The tenant's plumbing issue was resolved avoiding major damage. I had a leak from the hose line near the front porch of my house. I went on Nexrdoor for Lakewood area. I found a Fitzgerald was in my neighborhood and had good reviews. He was able to come out the next day and repair the line that was leaking and also suggested replacing the line from the water main as it was the original and 68 years old. The repairs were done in one afternoon and I have had no other issues! Highly recommend them.

We had a leak under our house that we caught because we began to notice a musky smell. We called Fitzgerald Plumbing and Warren came out the same day to take a look at what was going on, and we were also able to set up a time for him to return and repair what needed to be done. On repair day he arrived on time and was kind and professional, left the work area clean, and also gave us a year warranty on the work done. Patrick is awesome! My main sewer drain was clogged. He came out and put a camera down the pipe to see what the problem was. A section of pipe needed to be replaced. Him and his team finished the job quickly and smoothly. I also had some issues with my other drains. He took care of everything. Solid, honest guy. And they do great work!
