A spring on my garage door broke last evening.

Fantastic service. After a friend call back installed a new door opener and we tried to change the default codes as recommended in the manual that the installer didn't notice, the door opener wouldn't work. We did an online chat with the opener manufacturer, and they stopped helping when they thought spring tension was off and needed professional adjustments, and offered some local vendors that we called; the first offered to call back possibly within 4 to 6 weeks. Then a call to door doctor (they had helped us years ago) offered to come the same afternoon.
We were then surprised when the technician showed up in about an hour! His name was Russ, and knew his business, quickly took care of completing the install of a battery pack that was left, and programmed our remotes too, quickly and efficiently, billing us for a reasonable simple service call and we were happy and relieved, as finding competent local (preferred) help has been slow after a recent hurricane has stressed the system, and also brought lots of outsiders into the area.
We are very grateful for Door Doctor and will call again next need and also recommend them to friends.

Showed up on time and did a good job. A little on the expensive side. 250 dollars to install 2 sensors that cost 40 dollars and 15 minutes worth of work. Ok maybe a lot on the expensive side

Cant say enough good things about the Door Doctor..I have used them several times and each time they were prompt and knew what they were doing .. I called them the first time after I had called another company ..I wanted 5 things done ..one was reprogram my entry code ..the company said it couldn't be done i had to buy a new unit .. the other 4 things they could do 2 ..but they did say I needed new springs ..which I didn't ask for ..they told me the price and it was outrageous so I said thank you but I was going to look around I called the Door Doctor they came the next day and could do all of my requests as well as 2new springs ..the cost was half of what the other company was going to charge .. they were courteous and very knowledgeable..won't use anyone else

I saw their technician’s truck in our neighborhood and called them to see if he could stop at our house because our garage door wouldn’t open. He was at our place in twenty minutes, diagnosed the problem and recommended replacing our 20-year- old system . The new system works so much better than the old, was a reasonable price and only took an hour to install. I highly recommend this company.

Hurricane Ian damaged my garage door and was in up position due ti bent frame. They helped put in down position and recommended best ways to replace it vs replacing a bunch of parts that would be costly for an old door. Prompt response as well.

Can’t say enough about this excellent company. From receiving a phone call to alerting me when the technician will arrive . Upon his arrival he was very friendly.I explained what the problem was and he gave an option to correct my spring problem . The option and quote was accepted. I asked when can they do the work . To my surprise he said he can do it now .

I apparently trapped a possum in my garage fo two nights. It chewed the wires and knocked the electric eyes for the garage door off onto the floor. Door Doctor replaced the eyes and retired them. Same day service. Excellent!
