I had a great experience with Dr. Ahmadi. Her exam was comprehensive and she explained the plan of care very clearly. She told me that I should wait longer before wearing prescription lenses which I really appreciated. It was clear she had my best interest at heart. The intake process at the office was extremely efficient and not burdensome as it is at other medical offices. While I was on vacation, I scratched a lens on my glasses. I found Darien Eyecare and I am very thankful that I did. I went there and met Christine. She was not only able to read my prescription but was able to order a replacement lens within a week. This is a great small business owned by Mary and Woody. I cannot say enough good things about this place. The eye doctor is fantastic, took the time to listen to my concerns at my first visit, and I left with the first prescription in years that did not leave me with headaches or other issues.

The experience from getting an eye exam to purchasing frames/lenses was great! The staff were helpful in assisting me pick out frames, counseled me on the best way to use my insurance and even had my lenses in the frames and ready for pick up within two hours of my glasses purchase! The shop is clean and the staff are knowledgeable - overall a wonderful experience!

Woody and Mary are the dynamic duo who run this store together to give the best customer service in eye care I have ever had. They not only have a doctor on site who can quickly update your prescription, but also a broad assortment of stylish frames.
The best part is that they are unbelievably great in helping you select from that vast assortment -- giving you genuine and candid feedback on what frames they think look best on your face. Woody and Mary (who are married) have their own opinions about your best look, but that just makes the advice more honest. They processed my frames rapidly and even corrected a mistake without issue nor additional cost (one pair didn't get glare coating). I can't recommend them highly enough. P.S. Be sure to give their beautiful and exceptionally friendly Weimaraner Bella a pet when you visit.
