Staff was very welcoming and friendly. They were able to meet your requirements for a room. Room was very clean. Hotel offered snacks at no charge. Only request is more Almond Joy bars.
Breakfast exceeded expectations. While not cooked on site, food was good and a variety. Fresh fruit was outstanding.
I will recommend this hotel and I would stay there again.

We had an amazing stay at the Comfort Inn Escondido. Check in was quick and easy. Customer service was great. The hotel is in a safe neighborhood and is located within walking distance of many different food options. We enjoyed the complimentary in room snacks and water. We enjoyed the jacuzzi and then slept soundly in our room. The breakfast buffet was absolutely amazing!!

Not far from SD and great value for your buck! The rooms were clean, plenty parking, the breakfast/buffet is generous and better than most hotels. The cherry on top of the cake was Sara the person in charge of the breakfast great attitude always and with a smile on her face :) on top of everything trying to keep up with the crowds by herself. A truly asset for this hotel hope management is aware of it. Definitely will book here again.

We were very pleased with our stay here. Stayed one night, two adults two kids. Check in was quick and easy. Staff was friendly. Room was clean, had complimentary water bottles and snacks. Microwave with mini fridge/freezer. Lots of restaurants walking distance from hotel. Would stay again.

The hotel went by its name very well, I felt very comfortable in my room. The breakfast was delicious and had multiple options. The room had free snacks, tea, and coffee. The staff were nice and didn’t make it a hustle for anything. Overall the stay was great and I do suggest this place if you are planning on staying the night.

Yes, this hotel is a bit older, but all of the important things were great. The front desk check-in person could not have been kinder or more friendly. The Comfort in is easy to get to right off the freeway. We were greeted by the man at the check in counter upon arrival which was about 11:30 PM. This went smooth which was nice because it was so late.
I used the gym at 6:00 am but they had to unlock it for me because the sign said it opens at 6 but they said it is 7 am. Thanks for opening! It consist of a treadmill, elliptical (doesn’t work) and bike (didn’t try it). There is also a free standing machine that you can do some arm work with the cables but no bench to sit on. A little floor space to do my yoga and you can get 3 people in there at one time. They have a water machine, towels and a small half bathroom.
I looked at the breakfast buffet and only grabbed a banana. The food is in between a continental and a full blown buffet. It’s decent and you can make it work.
It’s an older hotel but the room, bathroom, sheets, etc were all nice and clean. The pool was not heated yet and the hot tub was warm but I just stick my hand in to check.
Plenty of free parking which was a bonus. I felt like it was appropriately priced and not fancy but not a cheap motel either. I would return again.

It was quality time with my grandson. He loved it . The room snacks are a hit for an 11 yr old boy. The jacuzzi was soothing, and the service was great. When they ran out of towels they were replaced fast by the lady at the desk. The house keeper helped me with a bag for my wet clothes. The food is hot ready and delicious. The service is A1 perfect.

I usually love my stay here. But I will definitely be asking for a top floor. I was on the bottom level and the smell of the room is not the same as the ones on top. And the sounds are also more prominent down here. Someone came knocking on our door at around 11:30pm and it was the front desk associate. I don’t know why or what the reason was, I called and was told it was a mistake, but it just rattled me and I couldn’t go back to sleep.

Rooms were clean and neat and a bit too warm for our sleeping preference. We did try to lower the thermostat. The mini fridge had a separate freezer, super convenient as we have meds that require ice packs and a cooler when traveling. Breakfast was nice. Walls allowed us to clearly hear our next door neighbors' whole conversations (at a normal speaking volume).

Great location to so many things! There are no lack of restaurants!! The hot tub was very warm and clean! Hotel was pretty clean, the rooms were very clean too! Housekeeping, breakfast and front desk workers all very nice! The breakfast had the most I’ve seen in any hotel! Great variety and we especially loved that there were many fresh fruit options!
Hotel could use a little tlc in the way of renovation however it was quite clean and we were very happy with that! Would stay here again :)

We stayed overnight at the Comfort Inn on our trip to visit the San Diego Zoo Safari in December 2023. Our experience at the hotel was very pleasant. Our two rooms both had modern A/C and heating from a "mini-split" system with remote controls. It was very effective. The rooms were very clean and the beds were very comfortable. The person at the front desk was very helpful when we had questions about the area. The breakfast was good. We really had no complaints.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Comfort Inn Escondido and i must say, i was thoroughly impressed with my room, from the moment i walked in i could tell that the room had been meticulously cleaned and prepared for my stay.
The first thing that caught my attention was the comfortable and inviting bed, the sheets were crisp and clean, and the pillows were fluffy and plentiful, i had no trouble falling asleep and waking up feeling well rested.
The room itself was spacious and well designed, i appreciated the thoughtful details, such as the desk and chair for me to work at and the ample storage space for my belongings, the decor was modern and tasteful making me feel right at home.
The bathroom was also impressive, with a large shower and plenty of counter space, the towels were soft and absorbent and there were plenty of toiletries provided for my convenience, one of my favorite things about the room was the mini fridge and microwave, it was so convenient to have these amenities in the room allowing me to store and heat up snacks and drinks during my stay.
The overall cleanliness of the room was top notch, i could tell that the housekeeping staff takes great pride in their work as every corner of the room was spotless.
The staff at the Comfort Inn Escondido were also friendly and welcoming, they were quick to answer any questions i had and made sure that i had everything i needed for a comfortable stay.
The location of the hotel was also ideal, with easy access to nearby restaurants and attractions i was able to explore the area and then come back to my cozy and comfortable room.
Overall, my experience at the Comfort Inn Escondido was fantastic, the room exceeded my expectations and provided a comfortable and relaxing stay, i highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay, i will definitely be returning on my next trip.
