Tim is fantastic! He worked with me on 2 houses and has helped me avoid over $100,000 in repairs. Each time I worked with Tim I was on an expedited timeline, and when I couldn't make one of the open slots on his online self scheduler work (which is very easy to use), I called and he was able to fit me in on days that I could be there with him at the inspections. He noticed details that I am sure other instructors might miss (multiple trades people confirmed this when I had them follow up on things he pointed out) and helped me determine issues that were catastrophic versus just big headaches. Both of my inspections were thorough and completed in a timely fashion. Additionally, the blue ladder website is well organized and hosts all of your inspection info under your profile - I look back on the website for reference to the inspection a ton. Final thoughts: Tim is great! Highly recommend his service! Most importantly, Tim has a great sense of humor, and we shared some good laughs through the process!

In dealing with so many people when purchasing a home, we were so surprised Tim showed up on time and with a complete positive outlook.
Despite Blue Ladder being in located Aloha, we had a home inspected in Yamhill County. We were so fortunate Tim had time to work with us. We bought our first home during the 1980’s so we had no idea what to expect this time around. None of our friends have had such a thorough inspection done so far. Tim even uses thermal imaging!
Tim & RoAnna are extremely transparent even letting a customer know the fees & pricing to expect. Their reports are so detailed & Tim encouraged us to ask any questions. We were surprised to view multiple pictures of items reviewed along with suggestions on what to worry about or how to approach repairs. Not only that, but Tim went out of his way to offer sound advice for keeping things working in the future.
Blue Ladder explains everything at the end of the inspection, following up with a detailed list of everything tested & checked. We were plain blown away with his professionalism making the entire process easy from our viewpoint. We were not aware Tim has dozens of years of experience in the home building field prior to being an inspector.
Tim was totally honest stating a licensed plumber had to lift the toilet to put a scope in for the sewer inspection. Tim refunded a portion of our payment & went into detail about who to contact for this & why it needed to be done.
No question…Blue Ladder Home Inspections is THE company to use.

The experience I had with Blue Ladder Home Inspection was a good one. We had someone come and inspect a house we were buying and our inspector (Tim Damm) did a great job of looking over everything and relaying to us all the major details (crawl space, sewer scope, Radon levels, and overall house condition) with us in person. Then, after the inspection, he gave us a very good write up consisting of all the key things we should know and fix both major and minor. As a bonus, he also included some helpful first steps in fixing some of the major problems as well as some tips on some of the minor fixes. He brought a mobile k-cup coffee maker and some snacks for us to eat/drink while he was going through the house and was very nice, polite, and professional. 10/10 would recommend.
