I had the gastric sleeve 1/20/23 and yesterday, 7/20/23, was my 6 month post op and I’m down 91 pounds. From the point of me inquiring from Be Sim Bariatrics to now, all of their staff have been exceptional. Their communication with me did not stop after my surgery. They have reached out to me several times since my surgery, checking on me and letting me know they are here for me. I have only had one little issue since my surgery and it was nothing they did, it was just my body adjusting. I went and had a vitamin drip, 2 weeks after my surgery, and then another one 2 weeks later and it has been smooth sailing since! I feel amazing and wish I had done this sooner. How do thank someone who saves your life? If I could put 50 stars on my review it wouldn't egual how happy I am with these folks, the hospital and my experience. I'm 3 1/2 months past my surgery and lost 80 lbs to date! I've had zero problems . I feel like I've rolled back the clock 10 years or more. My blood work is now all normal. No more pre diabetic, no high cholesterol, or joint pain. All more years added to the quality of life. How do you value something like that? Priceless is what it is. I had the sleeve surgery on Dec 7 2022. I had a great experience, from the hospital to the hotel to my post op , I never had pain , never was nauseous, never threw up , i was expecting a little of all of that at the least but my body did great. I’m down 28lbs and I have zero complaints!! I definitely make the better choices when it comes to food but I don’t deprive myself of the foods I want to taste. I started at 210 I’m 182 and my goal is 150. If you are thinking about going to Mexico and you are nervous plz don’t be. The staff is very professional and caring !! I would do it again !!! I’m a month out and they are still checking in on me ❤️

I am sooo glad I chose Be Slim Bariarics! They have lived up to all they profess, and so far I have lost 27lbs and on my Birthday the 18th it will be 30 days since my surgery!! I have been overweight as long as I can remember and have fought it for more than 45 year. I was doing Weight Watchers in Elementary school, attended a Weight Lose Camp as a freshman in high school, did shots and other weight lose programs losing and gaining. It has been a frustrating journey.
Knowing that I was weighing on the up side of 340 lbs, my insurance company said they wouldn’t cover the surgery. I continued to gain weight over 4-5 years weighing my heaviest in the 380’s.
I took the leap the 3rd June of this year and as of today, I am currently at 252. Am I done, not at all, but I am feeling so much better and able to have surgeries that I couldn’t before because of my BMI.
I’m embarrassed and excited at the same time. BeSlim Bariatrics is the hope of moving into retirement in the next two years with hope of having an active life style.
It may not be for everybody, but for me it was and is a blessing. Thanks for giving my life back.

This was by far the best customer service I have received durring a medical procedure, the staff was amazing, communication fantastic, clean hospital, amazing hotel for pre and post recovery, and driver assisting with transportation was so kind. I hope to never have to do this surgery again but if that happens in my life time I know who I am using. Thank you Be Slim Staff for making my life better! Everyone was helpful, compassionate and professional. This was my second Bariatric surgery and very, very different from the first. My first surgery was gastric sleeve in the U.S. It was extremely painful and although at the time I didn't know it but alot of precautions were neglected, the recovery was brutal. With Be Slim I had gastric bypass some complications due to my anemia but the experience was so drastically different. The staff was all very caring, it was obvious that the patient was what was important to them. They took secondary precautions to ensure my safety throughout the process, as well as explaining everything completely to me and my family, my pain was minimal and recovery time has been easy! I really appreciate all that they did for me.

You don't have to go through the six months of wait, trying to lose weight, and seeing a psychologist, and you want to save a lot of money, Be Slim is the place for you. The doctors study in the United States and the hospital and staff are clean and professional, and helpful. You can take your spouse, or a friend with you, and he/she stays in the same room with you, at no extra charge. There are a few restaurants that are within walking distance and it is safe. I have lost 115 pounds in eight months! I am no longer diabetic, my blood pressure is normal, my hips and knees do not hurt as bad. My body is thanking me for starting this journey. Yours will too. When I was acquiring into getting weight loss surgery due to medical conditions, I tried going thru my private health insurance and was denied, the insurance company wanted me to weight an additional 75 lbs. They disregarded my diabetes, high blood pressure and high cholesterol. California wanted to charge me $145,000.00 out of pocket.
So I did my research for tijuana. Me being in the medical field for 29 years I knew what to look for. So after comparing all tijuana Bariatrics companies. I decide to go with Be Slim Bariatrics and I picked Dr. Omar Paipilla for my gastric bypass surgery. July, 28, 2022 was my surgery and I'm 5 days post op. Feeling great.

Then from arriving to Airport, Hospital, Hotel, and surgery and being dropped off at Airport. The best experience in my life. I 100% recommended them. So after being hesitant to have my gastric sleeve done in Mexico, I finally worked up the courage to do so and let me tell you it was a great experience the nurses and doctors are great very attentive and helpful! Everything went well from my surgery to my recovery. I had no problems whatsoever. They check on you even when you leave to make sure your doing well. I have lost a total of 30 pounds from my surgery date without exercise just lite walking. I was super skeptical about going to Mexico and having surgery. After talking to some friends and my own research I decided to give it a go. My whole experience was great if I had questions they were quick to answer. The driver who picked me up treated me with nothing but respect even grabbed my bags for me . I got to the hospital everyone super nice and explained the process completely. The hotel was nice had room service it was good. Got to the hospital the next day nurses were nice and helpful I met my surgeon Dr. Navarro and he explained the process and answered all my questions. Had the surgery it was a bit uncomfortable but nothing like I expected. My stay there was top notch and treated very well. I would rate this place a ten. I’ve lost 51 pounds since my pre op diet and I’m only just over 2 weeks post op losing weight so happy

This place, these people, have given me my second chance at life :) from the very start after deciding to get the gastric sleeve done, they’ve been with me encouraging me, supporting me, and educating me all along the way. Even when my surgery got postponed because of a positive Covid test, they were extremely helpful during that frustration. Now I’m 1 month post op and 24 lbs down, 50 lbs total including the preop diet. My health is already improving and my energy levels are higher, and it’s only going to get better! I know there’s a big stigma about traveling outside of the country to get any surgery, and I had to face my own insecurities about that too. I could talk about my weight since surgery on March 28, which is 17 pounds gone! Weight loss surgery is expected to have great results.
Why BeSlim? My experience was beyond excellent. I traveled alone, at the San Diego airport i was picked up in less then 10 minutes by a great, friendly driver. Taken to the hospital for pre op testing.
Next day was picked up at the motel and taken to the hospital for surgery. From the doctors who come and talk to you after surgery. Nurses who are kind, helpful, and obviously well educated and trained. Patient care came natural to everyone I met. The nurse in pre-op stayed and talked to me because I was nervous. I cannot express how wonderful everyone is.
Follow up care has been top notch. I know the after care team is there to answer any questions and help me through my journey.
I remember days before leaving thinking what the HECK am I thinking. Going to Mexico for surgery. Best decision I made. Check back for pictures of the new me!!

Be slim Bariatrics was amazing and continues to be.
From the moment I applied for surgery they were in constant contact with me and answered any questions I had with in a day everytime. Almira my patient coordinator was so sweet, always available and kept me on track the whole time. She reminded me of everything I needed to turn in or have prepared so nothing was forgotten.
Once I arrived in San Diego there was barely any wait for the driver, Raul, to arrive. He picked us up and took us to a park to walk around while we waited for a few other people to land at the airport. Raul was very nice and personable. And very thoughtful of our time.
Once I got to the hospital the nurses and doctors were amazing. They were quick to respond to a call light, and very on top of any pain/nausea I had. Most of them spoke English but the few that didn’t it was extremely easy to communicate through a translation app.
Dr Mariana and Dr Navarro we’re who I saw the most and both seemed to care very much about my care. I thought it was so cool how involved the doctors were with everything because it’s usually all Nurses assistants and nurses who do the majority of care in America.
Karen the nutritionist came and spoke to me and was very helpful and informative and has continued to answer any questions I’ve had about what I can have on certain stages of post op diet after returning home.
I think my favorite part of the whole experience is the Facebook group where you meet tons of people going through the same thing and understand everything you’re going through. It’s been great to connect with people on the same journey as myself.

Thank you to the staff of Be Slim Bariatrics ! I had my bypass surgery on 01/17/22 and I am happy to say my blood pressure has been lower and my A1C is 6.5. I haven’t been taken off any medication as of yet but I am definitely eating less and better each day. If you have landed on this review...chances are you are having a hard time with your insurance company approving a surgery for you here in the states. US doesn't make it easy for us. I did a lot of research on finding a bariatric hospital in Mexico and couldn't find anything "bad" about Be Slim Bariatrics. Everything I read and researched was good... and I thought... Why not? Why not take a chance on me. So I did it... and everything they tell you in the support video is true. It happens just like that. I was treated like a VIP from the time I landed in San Diego until I made it home. And they are still consistently checking up on me. If you are on the fence... Let me assure you ... you will be taken care of and probably the best decision you will have ever made for your life. I had Dr. PaiPilla and he was amazing! So caring and kind! It was an all around great experience. Currently I am in recovery and the only advice I can give to you all...is make sure you follow Doctors orders and the Post diet to a T - to ensure the best recovery for yourself.

I had such a great experience with Be Slim Bariatrics from the very beginning! My coordinator Almira was wonderful and has been with me every step of the way! Dr Navarro, Dr Marianna, and Dr Martinez were wonderful and explained everything very well! The nutrition guide was easy to follow and Karen the nutritionist is always quick to respond to any of my questions I have! The staff at CIBA was all great and took excellent care of me! I highly recommend using them for your weight loss surgery needs!

I was quite nervous but everyone was so organized and on top of everything that it put my mind at ease. The follow ups, easy reachable apps, emails etc. have been amazing! Anything I need I am able to get answers in a short amount of time. IN THE SAME DAY! That’s pretty huge considering I don’t even get answers back that fast from my primary doctor.

I didn't know what to expect, but I was very impressed with the care and medical treatment I received in Tijuana Medical clinic. Everyone from Dr. Navarro to all his staff were simply WONDERFUL and I will surely recommend the Be Slim Bariatrics to all my family and friends.
