Heating installed my high efficiency boiler about 7 years and did a great job. Since then they have been doing routine maintenance on the system and I have been very satisfied with them. The other day the system failed and they responded very quickly. A new part was required and they obtained it and had the boiler working less than two days after the failure.
The people are friendly and professional. I highly recommend them.

The entire crew from Affordable Heating and AC were excellent from start to finish. Having no hot water isn’t an emergency, but it is quite the inconvenience when you have four children 8 years old or younger. Affordable was the only company ( out of more than a handful who were contacted) that could get out to the property to evaluate the situation the same day. The tech Zach was knowledgable, explained the situation thoroughly( in layman terms), and went over our options. He also made a “quick fix” temporary solution that gave us hot water for 24-36 hours. Both Zach and the owner Rob discussed with us what they felt was the best choice, but also were willing to discuss pros and cons to whatever decision we went with. We never felt pressured and we never felt we were getting a sales pitch. Once we decided what option to go with, our system was installed 2 days later( if we elected to repair the water tank heater, the repair would have been done in one day, bc we needed a particular part). The installation went smooth , with Zach and his assistant getting it done in a few hours. The post set up was also very professional. Rob followed up with us with regards to our satisfaction with the service and set up. He also helped us with the Mass Save rebate that we are eligible for. All in all , a very stressful and unpleasant, as well as unavoidable, situation was made much less stressful and unpleasant. I would highly recommend Affordable Heating and AC for any of your plumbing and HVAC needs.

Affordable Heating & AC was great. I called and spoke to Rob the owner on Thursday and told him my AC needed repair. We made an appointment for Saturday. On Saturday I got a call from his technician Steve who told me what time to expect him at the house. When he showed up he was very friendly, professional, knowledgeable and answered all my questions. He repaired the unit in no time and at a very reasonable price.
I would definitely recommend Rob and his technicians at Affordable Heating & AC.

About two weeks ago my central AC started blowing hot air. I had another company come to service and after charging me $500 for cleaning and an hour of Labor they told me it would cost $1,500 to replace three different parts to get my unit working. I called Affordable based on fb reviews and I was not disappointed. I got an appointment the next morning and Rob was great and explained everything about my unit. He did not talk down to me like I would not understand how the machine works. He explained about how much longer I can expect to keep my unit running well with service and maintenance and it only cost me a mere fraction of what the other company would have charged me. I am already planning to schedule furnace maintenance in the next few weeks for winter. Affordable heating and air conditioning are my guys from here on in!

The team was great -- from the quick response to email/calls to the professional estimate, including helping me get a $1000 rebate as well, to the actual installation - everything went super smoothly, and I really appreciate that they were able to make it up to Somerville to install the mini-splits.
The install team walked me through the various units, and made sure that they looked great. I'm very pleased and definitely recommend Affordable Heating & A/C.

I had Affordable Heating and AC install a new heating system last year. It was a big job because my old system was well over 40 years old, forced hot air in an old basement. They can out and have me an estimation and walked me through the process and timelines. I was able to communicate directly with the owner and his estimate and timelines were spot on. His installers were the best. They came in, cleared out the old system and installed the new system. They left the site cleaner than they found it, were professional and communicated with us through the entire process. I just had Them back for my annual service and the two the man crew that came were fantastic. After the job, they gave me an update and reminded me of best practices with changing the filters.
The best part is my new system is energy efficient and saving me during the heating months we'll over $200 per month.
