I had a 12:00 appointment got there 25 minutes early filled out the paperwork and at 11:50 they called me back... No waiting they were actually early.

It was incredibly easy to schedule myself as a new patient here. I got in within about a month! The facility felt very clean and modern. Staff was kind and nonjudgmental and provided good education about what they were finding/recommending. Bonus: They seem to be more open to MA insurance plans than most of the dental offices I’ve attempted to schedule with.

I hate writing reviews, and I hate going to the dentist even more. I would rather put out a fire with my face than schedule a cleaning. I cannot overstate my paralyzing anxiety regarding basic routine dental care. But like, I also like having teeth, so with the dread of a thousand apocalypses, I called around to all of the stupid practices to see if they could take care of my stupid teeth. I chose whoever had the soonest availability, because I knew full well that I would soon lose my nerve and just wait another year. So Clear Lakes it was. I show up, the personification of anxiety and dread, ready to accept what would surely be my terrible fate. You guys. It wasn't even bad, and it was actually pretty great?? Everyone was super nice, no one made me feel like an over-anxious monster, everything was explained to me in a comfortable, informative way. Even the actual facility itself was light and airy, not at all dungeon-like. Apparently I grind my teeth (as many over-anxious monsters do) so they suggested a custom mouth guard of some sort. They called my insurance and figured all that nonsense out for me, I did literally nothing except open my mouth so they could put some weird putty in there for a few minutes. So, if you hate going to the dentist, and wish more than anything that it was not something you had to do every 6 months for the rest of your life, then Clear Lakes in West St Paul is for you. If youre an over-anxious monster whose teeth are ground into dust, then Clear Lakes is for you. If you like the idea of a nice, friendly practice where normal people treat you like a normal person, then Clear Lakes is for you. If all you want is some trauma-free dental care, then Clear Lakes is definitely for you.

Went in for a walk in emergency, was treated for the issue, and walked out of the door in only an hour. Everyone was very caring and polite. Very patient centered. The doctor on duty was empathetic and quick to fix the problem. Highly recommend in an emergent situation!

Despite this being a dental office where dental work is done I enjoy going here because of the positive atmosphere, the great staff, and the dental work performed with care. So far I've had some cleaning, filling, and general dental work. Everything done, I am extremely satisfied with.
