GoogleThe crew of Mike and Mike were great. They were professional, friendly, and experienced workers who answered our questions and produced outstanding work! At the end of each day, they cleaned up before they left. It was interesting to see the progress each day. GoogleWe had a few issues in Our American Legion Post. We brought out a few Contractors. Highlander came in mid range. We chose Highlander as the sales representative took the time to explain everything in great detail. They measured, plum-bobed the walls, even checked the sumppump used for groundwater collection. We were told 12 straps, 2 pins and a new ground water collection container and sumppump. Instead of digging a new hole for the new water collection container and sumppump, they retrofitted the original space. They planned on 4 days, were done in 4 days even with a man down (due to a medical issue) have way thru the job. The crew was awesome, polite, friendly and worked. There was no standing around. The used plastic to contain the dust, cleaned everything up. If it wasnt for the work, you swear no one was there. Even the sod over the drain pipe was folded back and restored. Requests I made were honored, and they were open to any questions, any time.

They came promptly to do the estimate, arrived as scheduled, and completed the job quickly. A few adjustments had to be made as they worked, but everything was explained to us and finished to our satisfaction. So far, our basement is dry! Overall a great experience with a professional company. Would highly recommend.

GoogleThe original drainage system for our basement sump became clogged and flooded our side yard. Highlander installed a new system to assist in proper dispursement of springtime snow melt off. It remains to be seen if the installation works ok but the installer’s did a great job from start to finish

GoogleOur seller walls were caving in, and water was pouring down the walls. Highlander came in and within three days and reinforce the Walls and the loadbearing beams in the basement. Everything was done as described and agreed upon.

Screw jacks welded to tops of columns not just perched there on their own to spin around when tightened. Concrete finishing work was pristine. No hassles or getting run around. Thank you!

GoogleSo far we've had a few heavy rainfalls since Highlander did our work and we've been dry so that is a Plus! They were very efficient workers, 4 of them came and did the whole job which was outside and inside in 3 different areas and finished in 4 days time. They were very nice, cordial and did a great job. We even made them dinner on their last day of work to reward them. Our Sales Rep, Brandon Billet did a great job explaining what we needed, how they would do it and gave us different options on how. All in all, Highlander as a whole did a great job. Well worth the price. I will take more Pics to show the work, but I uploaded what I had for now.

The customer service is excellent and they are almost always ready to respond to do the work within a reasonable amount of time (days not weeks). I highly recommend their work.
GoogleWe are still waiting for a heavy rain for a final test of the new system, however, we have observed the system working thus far. I have checked the sump tub without rain and the drain system is bringing ground water in to the sump and the pipe system has been moving the water outside to the yard. The yard has been very dry but the soil around the drain has been damp due to the water being evacuated by the pump. The team completed the job in two days versus the three days that were planned. They installed plastic sheeting to keep dust more contained, however, the cement dust from the demolition is so fine that, short of a vacuum system, is impossible to keep 100% off of things. They cleaned up the crawl space, the driveway and the yard at the end of the project. The spray that was used to mitigate mold actually smelled nice and the basement is less damp with the wall covering that was applied in the crawl space which makes the area look much nicer. The only item pending is for Ron to call back regarding a reimbursement for a crawl space light fixture that was broken and a wall hanging that was damaged. Honestly, in a space that was less than 4’ high, I can’t imagine how the team jack hammered the concrete and “bucketed” it out. I also spoke to Jennifer at the beginning of the project as I had questions that the installation crew couldn’t answer and she chased the right people down and Brandon, our sales agent, also called. I have a before picture but didn’t think to take an after picture until we had put a lot of storage totes back in the crawl space. Update December 2025 It’s been a few months since our crawl space was finished and we are happy with the performance of the system that was installed. We’ve had some heavy rains and have had no water in the crawl space and with the redirecting of water in the crawl space we are seeing little water flowing from the crawl space down to the lower level of the basement. The sump pump is moving the water out of the crawl out to the yard far enough away that it flows down to our swale and out of the yard. Even with sub freezing temperatures we can see that the water is still flowing.
