I had hearing aid issue and Dr. Han saw me the next day. It turned out to be excessive wax and Dr. Han immediately arranged for me to be seen by Dr, Yamasaki, who took care of it. In and out in 30 minutes with issue addressed. I love this service!

I have had the most amazing experience here! Dr. Kara Silberthau is truly outstanding! She listened carefully to me, evaluated me thoroughly, offered full explanations for assorted services and treatments, respected my feelings, and was careful and calming while doing a procedure. When my symptoms suddenly changed, she made sure I was seen immediately by an audiologist (Amanda, who was also terrific!) and that I had a follow-up appointment with her right afterwards. She continues to answer my questions, and I am delighted to say that I am already improving, thanks to her quick and accurate diagnosis and treatment plan. Perhaps most important to me throughout this somewhat startling turn of medical events, has been the patience and compassion with which I’ve been treated. Too many office staff, nurses, and doctors nowadays treat patients robotically or callously; each and every person with whom I have interacted at Becker ENT, however, has been wonderful.

You can tell she genuinely cares about her patients and wants the best for them. On top of that, she’s a super nice person who makes you feel comfortable right away. I’ve spent well over a decade constantly at my primary doctor and ENT doctors only to be given antibiotics and steroids on a regular basis. It was maddening, I would sometimes be on 2 courses back to back of steroids and antibiotics, I was very depressed. I finally had to become my own advocate and reach out to an immunologist Dr Kathryn Edward’s, after only 2 visits and some new testing she was able to determine that I have a fairly rare condition. I have an answer there is no cure but there is treatment! I’m thankful and now I have been given some hope!!

I was happy that I was able to see the doctor even before my actual appointment time. On the other hand, I was a bit uncomfortable with the nurse? who took my vital. She seemed to be a bit frustrated with something with her co-worker before I entered a room. Then when she took my blood pressure, her manner seemed to be a bit irritated. I dont know what happened to her but as a patient, I did not feel comfortable to be with her.
